Henry Cavill boldly hangs out in a Superman t-shirt in Times Square…not a single fan noticed

For anyone that questioned whether a simple pair of glasses was enough to separate Clark Kent from Superman – Henry Cavill had this cheeky message.

The Man of Steel posted a hilarious video of him going completely unnoticed as he hung out in Times Square wearing a Superman T-shirt next to huge billboards of his upcoming blockbuster.

Not a single fan clocked the 32-year-old actor as he lounged around the busy New York hotspot, prompting him to knowingly caption the Instagram post: ‘The glasses are enough’.

Cheeky: Henry Cavill posted a hilarious video of him going completely unnoticed as he hung out in Times Square wearing a Superman T-shirt next to huge billboards of his upcoming blockbuster

The montage starts with Henry grinning and nodding at the camera as he leans languidly against a wall next to Times Square station in broad daylight.

The British actor then flicks a coy look to his left and the camera spans to a huge billboard of his upcoming film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Henry – who is dating 19-tear-old university student Tara King – takes things one step further and opens the lapels of a brown shearling coat to fully show off his Superman emblazoned top.

The video then cuts to a series of images of the actor chilling in a coffee shop and taking a close-up selfie next to one of the gigantic movie posters.

Coffee to go? The British star even brazenly chilled in a coffee shop, going completely incognito

He even sits brazenly at an outdoor cafe, while hundreds of passer-by hurry past oblivious to the mega-star – despite his face being plastered on the walls of buildings around them.

Henry, who shot to fame in the 2013 box office hit Man of Steel, told his 505,000 followers: ‘Dear Doubter, The glasses are good enough. Regards, Superman #WhoWillWin #Superman’

The amusing video, which garnered 60,000 likes, comes nearly a week before the release of the highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Meanwhile, Henry recently set tongues wagging as he unashamedly admitted he’s an actor, not just because of the art but because of the ‘fantastic money’ in a new interview.

The Tudors star claimed travelling all over the world is only a pleasant experience if you have the luxury of getting from A to B via first class means.

He told Page Six: ‘I’m not just doing this for the art. The money’s fantastic and that’s something which I deem – and again, it is frowned upon – very important.’

Adding: ‘People will be calling me a c**k as they’re reading this, but travel’s great as long as you’re going first class. I mean, traveling to New Zealand in economy, it sucks.

‘Especially if you’re over six feet. But first class? I’m not going to ever pretend to be coy about that. I love it.’

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, also starring Ben Affleck, Amy Adams and Jesse Eisenberg, hits screens on March 25.
