Not only is Cavill a good actor, but his physical transformation, should the role demand it, has been astounding to witness. He had to follow a strict regime to embody the physicality of Geralt, the sword-wielding monster hunter, and the results were glorious. The feat was only possible due to the actor’s utmost dedication.

Alan Ritchson is Cavill’s co-star in the upcoming film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. The Superman actor recently shared a clip of a short interview on his Instagram account.

Ritchson only had the most complimentary things to say about Cavill and his work ethic. “Henry is a perfect number one. He is the first one there, last to leave, always knows his stuff, he’s always positive. He leads by example, I’m so impressed,” said the Reach actor.

Cavill, on the other hand, joked about how Ritchson was a nightmare to work with. He immediately clarified that he said it in jest and that it was wonderful to work with Ritchson.

The two actors have become good friends if their interactions are anything to go by. The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare will also star Eiza González, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer, and Cary Elwes.

What is Henry Cavill’s new film, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, about?

The film, helmed by Guy Ritchie, is adapted from Damien Lewis’ 2015 book of the same name. The events are based on a true story, and the group managed to change the course of the Second World War.

At the height of the Second World War, the UK Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, founded a special force. Ian Fleming, best known as the author of James Bond, was an officer in the Royal Navy’s Naval Intelligence Department and part of this covert group founded by Churchill.

The Prime Minister had a reputation for coming up with wild scenarios and their possible solutions. He recognized the threat that Adolf Hitler posed and founded the Special Operations Executive, or SOE, a predecessor of the Black Ops.

This group believed in fighting unconventionally and pulled off stunning victories against the Germans. With Henry Cavill starring in a lead role, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare will hit screens on April 19th.
