Prince Harry’s old Eton and Army friends “won’t visit him,” and it’s because of one key reason, it has been claimed.

According to an expert, Prince Harry’s pals don’t visit the Duke of Sussex because some of them have disagreements with his wife, Meghan Markle. The Sussexes stepped back from their roles as senior working royals in 2020. They then moved from their home in Windsor to a lavish mansion in the Californian neighbourhood of Montecito.

Up until last June however, the Sussexes still had their old home of Frogmore Cottage as one of their places of residence, but it was a year ago that the pair were evicted and ordered to return the keys following the publication of Harry’s bombshell memoir, Spare. And now, Harry is said to be looking for a new pad in his home country.

Royal commentator, expert and author, Tom Quinn, recently spoke to The Mirror in an exclusive chat where he said: “He [Harry] misses his Old Etonian and army friends, many of whom have not visited as they don’t get on with Meghan.

“As time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the UK. Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the States is new and exciting is coming to an end and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles.”

This comes after Meghan’s major concern was unveiled. Since moving across the pond, the couple has rarely returned to the United Kingdom, and Meghan was last seen at the late Queen’s funeral in 2022. And now it has been claimed that Meghan is only prepared to come back to the UK if she and Harry have a place of their own to stay, and if they have the appropriate security.

Mr Quinn told us: “Meghan has said she’s only prepared to return to England if she and Harry have a place of their own and the security they both feel is essential. Meghan will never return to the UK and stay with her husband‘s relatives.

“If the couple manage to find a permanent home and sort out the security issue they will certainly want to bring their children to the UK but it’s going to take a lot of diplomacy to get to the point where Archie and Lili are able to develop a genuine and warm relationship with their cousins George, Charlotte and Louis.”
