Ryan Reynolds opens up about his future with Blake Lively and reveals whether pair will have FIFTH child in candid interview

Ryan Reynolds opened up on whether he would be expanding his family with wife Blake Lively in the future on Monday.

The Deadpool & Wolverine star, 47 — who was recently spotted on a romantic stroll with his famous wife —joked about getting his famous wife pregnant with their fifth child during a joint interview with costar Hugh Jackman for E! News.

He said excitedly: ‘The more the merrier. As many as possible. As many little heartbeats as possible, just running around, wrecking stuff in the house.’

He and the It Ends With Us star, 36, share daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4, and a fourth child born in 2023.

‘I love it. Let’s have more!’ he gushed to the outlet.

Ryan then explained that his youngsters have a very close relationship with Jackman, joking that they ‘prefer’ him.

‘My kids prefer everything Hugh to me,’ he quipped as The Greatest Showman actor chimed in, ‘Mainly just as a parent.’

The father-of-four revealed that the 55-year-old actor’s films are watched on repeat in his household.

‘They watched The Greatest Showman more than the editor for The Greatest Showman,’ Ryan said.

‘And sometimes I come home, and this guy’s actually acting it out with them and that’s kind of amazing,’ he added of Jackman’s relationship to their kids.

Blake and Ryan said ‘I do’ at the Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina in 2012 after meeting on set of Green Lantern in 2010.

They became parents for the first time in December 2014 with the birth of son, James. Ines was born two years later on September 30, 2016.

The movie star couple welcomed daughter Betty — whose name was revealed by pal Taylor Swift — just before the COVID-19 pandemic in October 2019.

In February 2023, Blake and Ryan welcomed their fourth child whose gender and name has yet to be revealed.

Earlier on Monday morning, Ryan and his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star appeared on Good Morning America to promote the new superhero-duo film.

According to an official description of the movie: ‘Wolverine is recovering from his injuries when he crosses paths with the loudmouth, Deadpool. They team up to defeat a common enemy.’
