Prince William and Kate Middleton have ‘frightening fight’ and ‘won’t deal with Harry’

Prince Harry has returned to the UK for the first time since his sister-in-law’s cancer diagnosis, but a royal expert has claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton have neither the “will or the strength” to “deal with ‘the Prince Harry problem'”.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly too preoccupied to address the ongoing issues with Prince Harry, according to a royal expert. The Prince and Princess of Wales lack the “will or the strength” to tackle what’s been dubbed ‘the Prince Harry problem’, as the Duke of Sussex makes his anticipated return to the UK.

Former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond has suggested that the tables have turned following the Princess of Wales’ cancer diagnosis. In light of such serious health concerns, Harry’s past complaints that led to a family rift now seem “utterly trivial”.

With their current challenges, it’s unlikely that William and Kate will seek out any clash with Harry.

Meanwhile, Harry’s bond with his father, King Charles, seems beyond repair as he chooses not to see his father during his short trip to the UK. The Duke of Sussex arrived for an Invictus Games event on Tuesday, leaving Meghan and their children in the US.

Prince Harry touched down on May 7, amid much speculation about whether he’d catch up with King Charles. But any buzz about a father-son catch-up was promptly put to bed, reports the Mirror.

The Duke’s spokesperson made it clear that due to the King’s packed agenda, a meeting was off the cards, stating: “It unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme. The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”

The visit marks Harry’s first return since the news broke of his sister-in-law’s cancer treatment following her surgery in January. Despite the hope for family healing, Jennie shared with OK! magazine a bleak outlook on Harry’s relationship with William, saying: “As regards William, that does appear to be a terminally damaged relationship.”

She observed a shift in their dynamic, noting: “In a way, it seems the boot is now very much on the other foot. Previously it was Harry who was the ‘victim’ looking for an apology for all his perceived grievances. Now those grievances must seem utterly trivial (even to Harry) in the face of a very real problem: cancer.”

Acknowledging the gravity of the circumstances and its effect on familial bonds, she added: “Kate and William are involved in a frightening fight and I don’t think they have the will or the strength to confront someone, even a brother, who picked a fight over issues that seem pathetic by comparison.”

Jennie went on: “William is doing everything he possibly can to protect his wife and I very much doubt that they want to deal with ‘the Harry problem’ right now, if ever.”

The royal commentator noted the significance of Harry’s missed meeting with Charles, saying, “we can deduce that their relationship is terminally damaged”. She suggested: “In a sensible world, Harry would stay with his dad at Clarence House – they could have cosy chats in perfect privacy and with all the security Harry wants.”

It was during his most recent trip to the UK in January that Harry last saw his father, following news of the monarch’s battle with cancer.
