The bitter split between the Duchess of Sussex and her estranged father Thomas Markle has taken another sad turn in an explosive new documentary.
In Meghan and Harry: A Royal Baby Story, a royal author suggests Meghan Markle’s father will never meet his grandchild.
“I can’t think for a moment that Thomas Markle will ever be able to meet his grandson or granddaughter,” royal biographer Duncan Larcombe said.
Thomas Markle, 73, who was busted for selling stories to the press including set-up paparazzi shots, has not spoken to his daughter, 37, since last year, when he missed her wedding to Prince Harry.

Queen Elizabeth II’s only daughter has represented many important causes over the years, whether that be Save The Children, helping those with disabilities or supporting carers. She also raised her two children, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall, to understand that they would have to work in the future regardless of who their grandmother was. Peter and Zara previously paid tribute to their mother in an interview to mark her 70th birthday in 2020. The interview saw them joke about being too afraid to ask her to slow down, as well as reveal the one trait she has that they find “annoying”. anne The pair joked about their mother’s “most annoying” habit -Credit:Getty Sitting next to one another, Zara – who celebrates her 43rd birthday on Wednesday 15 May – said: “She’s like a sponge, it’s unbelievable, the information that’s stored in her brain. In February, a letter sent from the Duchess of Sussex to her father was made public, in which she begged him to leave her in peace.
Thomas said the handwritten letter was “a dagger to the heart” which left him “devastated”.
In it, Meghan accused her father of breaking her heart “into a million pieces” by allegedly lying in the press and publicly attacking her husband Prince Harry.

“If you love me, as you tell the press you do, please stop. Please allow us to live our lives in peace.”
