Meghan Markle has been blasted for new move which shows “it’s always about her,” according to a royal commentator.
Prince Harry will return to the UK on May 8 to attend an event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
Modeled after the Warrior Games in the US, the Invictus Games were founded by Harry in 2014 to offer wounded veterans the challenge of competing in sports events similar to the Paralympics.
But Meghan, nor their two children, Archie and Lilibet, are expected to join Harry on the visit back to his home country.
However, the Duchess of Sussex will travel to Nigeria for meetings about the Invictus Games with Harry later in May.
GB News presenter Bev Turner said the Duchess will forego the trip to the UK in favour of visiting Nigeria. She is expected to meet Harry in Nigeria, where she aims to “discover her roots”.
Their invitation came from the country’s chief of defence staff, which happens to be its top military official.
Speaking about the forthcoming journey on GB News, Ingrid Seward, Editor of Majesty Magazine, suggested the couple’s visit might be connected to their upcoming Netflix projects and indicated that the Duchess of Sussex “wouldn’t travel all that way without a camera crew with them”.
Turner agreed, stating that the outing will “presumably have a Netflix documentary attached to it”.

Seward elaborated: “She’s going to apparently go to Nigeria with Harry, they’ve been invited there.
“She decided to do this after taking a DNA test, which revealed she is 43 percent Nigerian. So she wants to discover her roots.”
