Meghan and Harry given savage nicknames by Diana’s beloved royal butler
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been slammed by former royal butler, Paul Burrell, who has weighed in his opinion of the Sussexes’ and their controversial decisions since leaving the Royal Family.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been slammed by Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell who has savagely branded the Sussexes’ as “Ginge and Whinge”.
Paul Burrell was the late Princess of Wales’ royal butler for 11 years and naturally struck up a friendship with Harry’s late mother as well as serving as footman to the late Queen Elizabeth.
However, the former butler has now made his thoughts very clear on Diana’s youngest son and some of his controversial decisions in recent years, as well as his recent loss in court after taking legal action against the Home Office.
Mr Burrell spoke to GB News this week following Harry’s legal battle verdict and his announcement to appeal it, the Mirror reports.
He said: “I think quite frankly the British public are sick and tired of ‘Ginge and Whinge’ and wish they would stay in America because if you stayed there, you wouldn’t have to suffer the indignity of coming to Britain.”

The former royal butler then added that he believes the Duke of Sussex is “full of his own self-importance” and has an “inflated ego”.
He continued: “It’s egotistical of him to think that he was in a greater risk than his mother,” referring to Harry’s recent security case in the High Court in which he argued that he and his family are at risk when in the UK.
Mr Burrell then slammed the duke’s claims that the decision regarding his security was taken away from him “without his knowledge” and happened as soon as he announced his departure from the Firm.
He said on GB News: “…and to say now that this was done without his knowledge is quite frankly wrong.
“It’s once again one of Harry’s truths and why should the British taxpayer put the bill for the security of an American celebrity visiting Britain. Can I just remind you that Harry chose to leave the Royal Family, it was his decision.
“I think that it’s an arrogant position to think that he is so important, he wanted to leave the Royal Family.”
