A fundraiser has been launched to bring the body of a “beautiful” young woman home to Scotland following a tragic car crash in Ireland.
Chloe Hipson sadly died in the two-vehicle collision in the townland of Gibstown in Dundalk, County Louth, at 9pm on Saturday.
The 21-year-old from Bellshill died with four others who have been named as Chloe McGee, 23, Alan McCluskey, 23, Dylan Commins, 23, and Shay Duffy, 21. They were from the Republic of Ireland.
The survivor, from Ardee, was being treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries in hospital last night. A fundraiser has now been set up to bring Chloe’s body home to her family with more than £17,000 raised.
