Stephen Graham and wife Hannah Walters get their groove on at the Netflix Golden Globes afterparty as he joins his Adolescence co-stars to celebrate a winning night of awards

There was one person in particular Stephen Graham wanted to celebrate with following the success of his show, Adolescence – his wife Hannah Walters.

The couple, who have been married for 17 years, danced the night away at the Golden Globes Netflix afterparty, where they were joined by their co-stars.

Stephen was clearly in the mood to party after winning Best Male Actor in a TV Drama for his stellar role in the hard-hitting Netflix drama.

Adolescence won four prizes across the board, meaning it was the most successful of all of the television shows up for nomination on Sunday night.

Stephen’s co-star Erin Doherty was named Best Supporting Actress in a TV Drama and Owen Cooper, 16, won Best Supporting Actor in a TV drama.

Adolescence also triumphed in the highest category for which it was eligible – Best Limited TV Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for TV.

Stephen, 52, sporting a blue shirt and dark trousers, got his groove on with Hannah, 51, at the party, which was hosted at fine dining restaurant, Spago, in Beverly Hills.

Hannah, who makes a cameo as teacher Mrs Bailey in the series, looked glamorous on the dance floor in a metallic dress and wore her curled hair in an updo.

When he accepted his Best Actor gong, Stephen sweetly credited his ongoing awards season success to Hannah and their two children.

In the show, Stephen and his co-star Christine Tremarco are parents forced to deal with the devastating aftermath of their teenage son’s arrest for the murder of a female classmate in the limited series, which they also co-executive produced.

And an emotional Stephen credited his wife for turning his life around when they exchanged vows in June 2008 while accepting his award.

Stephen described her as ‘one of the most best producers ever and a woman I’m very, very lucky to be married to.’

He added: ‘I’ve said it before, but you saved my life. You saved my life.

‘And to my two beautiful children, Grace and Alfie, I love you to the moon and back forever.’
