I’m super excited. I feel like a puppy. I did join Strictly 3 years ago. It was a 2022 and I remember as if it’s yesterday when I got the call and when they said like would you like to join Strickly I was like is the question because I mean strictly is the best in the world. My first dance on Strictly, it would be always in my heart.
It was a kind of Avana background. I had my Bordeaux trousers with my white vest, like very Italian with my first line ever on Strictly. Come dancing was like, “Vito in Italian means life.” And this is what I’m going to bring to Strictly life. My dance partner or my first strictly come dancing was Flur. My favorite dance with Flur was in Blackpool. The couple choice.

It was just priceless. I remember boom boom. Up down floor was like in a back band. The judges was standing up. I remember. And when we got to 40 That was the first time that Craig gave his stand in the entire series. Such a privilege. Another of my favorite dances was with Sara Adler. The cha just iconic. I remember when I said you need to jump from the platform in my hand.
She was like, “Oh no, I’m scared. No way.” Hey, you know and I said like find the word you can trust me I will never ever let you down and once I got her trust in that jump for me was like you know we are actually now becoming as one veto you really made her work hard in this. I thought that was absolutely a powerhouse performance.
My very favorite and special dance with Ellie Goldstein was the walls. Ellie was starting on the stairs of her own and after we were met in the middle of the floor, there was something magical in the air. WS was a beautiful dance because it was showing a different side of Ellie. I said you just have to be light and you want to float in the air but also we have to put some technique step some standing spin. We had the box.

We did do spin out, spin in. The feeling of watching Ellie like I was just so proud and I was trying to hold myself. Ellie Leuce. My relationship with Ellie, it was just beautiful. You got to get the show dance has been the most full-on dance I have ever done. It was a kind of the entire strictly compressed in one dance with a bit of roomba with a bit of other dances with a bit of Argentine tango. We just put everything.
The end of our show dance describes the exactly concept of resilience. There was a moment when Ellie was on my shoulder that she lost the balance and getting down catch and after flipping on the floor and we stood up. I remember Ellie said to me, “I’m sorry. I’m sorry. No problem.” I said like, “There is nothing to be sorry.
You just have to be proud of yourself.” We didn’t get 10 in the final for that dance, but for me it was 100. Winning was not just the trophy. It was just the end of a circle of an entire journey and I’m just very very grateful for this. Dancing in one of the biggest platform every weekend is something that at the beginning is a bit scary.

It’s a bit overwhelming. But once you see how much you can inspire and help other people, then it’s so rewarding and it’s telling me that I’m doing the right thing in the right moment of my life and I’m in the exactly right place. Strictly come dancing.
