LOOSE WOMEN CONCERN: Linda Robson Opens Up About Frightening ‘Health Scare’ — “My Kids Have Been Really Worried About Me”
Linda Robson has spoken candidly about a difficult and emotional year, opening up about a recent health scare that left her children deeply concerned — and forced her to slow down and reflect.
The Loose Women favourite, 67, revealed that the past 12 months have been anything but straightforward, describing them as a “rollercoaster” marked by medical worry, family anxiety and personal resilience.
A Frightening Health Update
Linda previously shared on ITV that doctors were monitoring a cyst on her pancreas, after gallstones caused damage to the organ. At the time, she admitted the situation was especially upsetting for her children.
“The cyst had grown, and the kids were obviously really worried about me,” she explained.
Doctors warned that if the condition worsened, surgery could be required — a prospect that would leave Linda diabetic for life.
Despite the seriousness, she tried to remain optimistic, telling viewers she was “feeling positive” while quietly hoping the cyst would stabilise.

‘I’m Alright Now’
Now, Linda has offered a reassuring update.
Speaking to Bella Magazine, the TV star confirmed that the scare has eased and that she’s feeling much better.
“I’m alright now,” she said, adding that her focus has shifted to rest, recovery and something she’s been looking forward to all year — a holiday.
“As soon as panto finishes, I just want to get away,” Linda shared. “It’s been an up and down sort of year, so I’m planning to go to Cyprus with my two sisters and just breathe.”
A Year Marked by Emotional Strain
Health worries haven’t been Linda’s only challenge.
The presenter has also been supporting her close friend and longtime Birds of a Feather co-star Pauline Quirke, whose dementia diagnosis was made public earlier this year. Pauline was diagnosed in 2021, with her husband confirming the news in January.
Linda has previously spoken about the heartbreaking moment she realised something was wrong during a lunch with Pauline and fellow co-star Lesley Joseph in 2022.
Today, Pauline no longer recognises Linda — a reality she has described as devastating.
Looking Ahead With Gratitude
Despite everything, Linda remains characteristically upbeat.
With work commitments wrapping up and family close by, she says she’s determined to enter the New Year focusing on health, rest and gratitude — and reassuring those closest to her that she’s okay.
After a year defined by worry, loss and resilience, Linda Robson is choosing hope — one step at a time.
