“IS THIS THE END FOR ME?” Strictly ERUPTS as Bookies Deliver Brutal Blow to Amber Davies Ahead of Semi-Finals
Bookies have issued Strictly Come Dancing’s Amber Davies a damning verdict ahead of Saturday’s semi-final.
The West End star, 29, is partnered with Nikita Kuzmin and has been considered a frontrunner in the BBC competition.
Despite high scores across the series, the latest odds suggest Amber could be on her way out of the ballroom.
Ladbrokes have removed EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal from bottom of the betting and put the former Love Island winner there instead.
With odds of 50/1, this means Amber is now considered the outsider to win with YouTuber George Clarke deemed the favourite.
Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati shared: ‘George and Karen are as good as neck-and-neck in the Strictly betting, but having made it this far, we’re not yet ruling out what would go down as the biggest Strictly upset of all-time.’

She is partnered up with pro dancer Nikita Kuzmin, with the pair regularly placing high on the leaderboard
The semi-final will see Amber, George, Balvinder and ex-Lioness Karen Carney face off to stay in the running.
It comes as Amber survived last week’s dance off, triumphing over fellow frontrunner, Emmerdale alum Lewis Cope.
Amber and Nikita – who scored 40 on Saturday night – performed their Charleston to Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat from Guys and Dolls, before Lewis and Katya performed their Salsa to Dance at the Gym from West Side Story.
Shirley Ballas said of the dance off result: ‘I’m speechless. Absolutely speechless.
‘You have to dance your place in the semi-final. We are all admiring of all you. May the best man win’.
Motsi Mabuse had the casting vote and also decided to put Amber and Nikita through to the semi-final, after the other three judges voted for the former Love Island star.

One viewer wrote on X: ‘I’m so heart broken for Katya, I really thought she’d win it this year.’
Another said: ‘Brilliant from both couples. The rest of the series will be tarnished by this week.’
While a third remarked: ‘Worst dance off result ever.’
Taking to Instagram, Amber fired back at online trolls, but clearly thought twice about the message as she subsequently deleted it.
She said: ‘Guys, please… it really is just a television show.
‘I wasn’t even supposed to be in the comp.
‘You have no idea what we put our mind and body through for this experience.
‘I’m really just trying my best with the opportunity that came to me. To anyone who has left a NICE comment thank you.’
Continuing, Amber then added: ‘The meanies are out to play. Please be kind.’

However, the pair found themselves in the dance off last week – although they managed to survive
Amber signed up to Strictly as a replacement for fellow past Love Island winner Dani Dyer, who fractured her ankle in training after the launch show.
On joining Strictly, Amber said: ‘This has been the craziest 24 hours of my life.’
She continued: ‘I’ve watched Strictly with my family since I was younger and to now be part of the show is a dream come true.
‘I’m going to give it my all and I am sending Dani well wishes for a speedy recovery. I hope I do her proud.’
