Is Dylan dead in Emmerdale? Teen’s fate ‘unveiled’ and it’s not good news

Emmerdale viewers are bracing themselves for a potential tragedy, fearing that newcomer Dylan Sanders may meet his end following a hit-and-run incident.

Dylan (played by Fred Kettle) was introduced to the ITV soap this year in a special episode focusing on April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), who had fled home and was living rough.

However, in recent times, the duo have been ensnared in the perilous world of drug trafficking and sex work, masterminded by the villainous Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) and his mother Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths).

The malevolent mother-son pair coerced April and Dylan into becoming drug mules to pay off an escalating debt, with April also being pressured into sexual exploitation.

Celia and Ray are the orchestrators of an operation involving forced labour on their farmland on the village outskirts, with Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) among those enslaved, reports the Daily Star.

This week, Dylan discovered Bear and rushed to inform the villagers. However, his efforts were thwarted when Ray struck him with his car and was seen injecting Dylan with an unknown substance, seemingly intending to silence him permanently.

In Friday’s episode (December 5) of Emmerdale, it was revealed that Dylan, still comatose, remained on life support, with April rushing to the hospital to be at his bedside. Yet, with Dylan still unconscious, fans have speculated about his fate – and the prognosis is grim.

Speculation is rife among Emmerdale fans, with one suggesting on a Facebook fan page: “I’ve got a feeling Ray or Celia might finish Dylan off in hospital and kill him.”

Another concurred: “I thought that as well.” While a third added: “Wouldn’t put it past them.” Yet another fan speculated: “Yep think Dylan will eventually die.”

In other news, it appears Celia’s reign of terror may soon be over, as actress Jaye recently revealed she’s departing the soap after a mere four months on the ITV programme.

Reflecting on her imminent exit, Jaye confessed: “I knew it was finite, which I am very sad about, because I would like to stay forever, but it’s such a strong arc. It’s heaven, one of the nicest places I’ve ever worked, and I’ve done a little bit of work before!”.

“It is gentle and kind and professional and funny, and people care that it’s good. People care that we tell the story properly. It’s a joy to come to work. I’m gushing now, aren’t I?”.

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
