Rylan Clark has shared a touching update about his beloved mum Linda, melting hearts with a proud Instagram post as she continues to battle serious health issues.
The TV presenter, 35, revealed that Linda had been invited to open the Christmas grotto at her local garden centre — and he couldn’t have been prouder. Sharing a photo of Linda smiling beside Santa and a staff member, Rylan wrote: “My mum was asked to open the Christmas grotto at our local garden centre where she goes all the time, and genuinely I’ve never been more proud. LOOK AT HER!”
Linda, who became a fan favourite after appearing with Rylan on Celebrity Gogglebox, looked radiant at the festive event. Rylan recently told The Daily Star that while they’ve been offered countless TV projects together, Linda’s condition means she prefers to stick with Gogglebox. “We got asked to do a travel show and go here and there, but she’s just not well enough,” he explained. “Gogglebox is enough for us. She feels comfortable doing that because we’re just sat in my kitchen.”
