“SHE SAVED ME WHEN I WAS FALLING APART”: Demi Burnett Reveals How Natasha Parker Became Her ‘Angel’ During a Brutal Substance Abuse Recovery

Bachelor Nation fans got to know Demi Burnett on Season 23 of “The Bachelor,” and again on Seasons 6 and 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”

Since her time on the shows, Demi has been keeping fans updated with her life online and previously opened up about her sobriety journey.
Now, Demi has taken to her Instagram to advocate for helping others who are currently struggling with substance abuse.

In a new video, she stated, “Substances are killing my friends. I know way too many people that have died and most of it is because of substances. What do we do about that?… What’s the best thing we can possibly do to help anyone we know struggling with substance abuse?”

Demi then shared in her caption how fellow Bachelor Nation alum Natasha Parker helped her through her own recovery.

She said, “Natasha was my angel that stayed with me through my withdrawals ❤️I truly don’t know if i would be here today without her @natashaparker i love you and thank you so so much for being there for me. YOU saved my life!”

Demi has previously mentioned that Natasha was the one who called the ambulance when she had her seizures and stayed while she was recovering in the hospital. While reflecting on that day, she expressed, “I am forever grateful for and in awe of Natasha Parker.”

Natasha commented on Demi’s post, sharing her gratitude for being able to help during that very difficult time.

She wrote, “I love you so much Demi❤️ God made me stay with you and I’m so glad I listened to His words🙏🏾”

We are so proud of Demi and so thankful for Natasha. We’re continuing to support Demi on her journey.

Demi shared that she’s been alcohol-free since 2021 but had a difficult time going through recovery. She revealed her withdrawals were so bad, she experienced seizures and was in the hospital for three days.
