Ruth Langsford has addressed rumours of her ‘new man’ following her split from Eamonn Holmes. The presenter split from her former This Morning co-star Eamonn, 65, in May 2024 after more than 20 years together and has now spoken out about the idea that there is someone new in her life.
The TV star, 65, was back in her usual seat as anchor on Tuesday’s Loose Women alongside Denise Welch, GK Barry and Jane Moore when she mentioned that a ‘terrible’ Facebook article had been doing the rounds. The story apparently claimed that she had reunited with her childhood sweetheart following her split from Eamonn.
She explained: “Apparently I have a new man. According to this article, that’s all over Facebook and I’ve had friends ringing me up, apparently I met this man when we were childhood sweethearts when I grew up in Belfast, which I didn’t, and now it’s come full circle after all these years. Terrible, isn’t it?”
