Katie Price’s eldest daughter Princess Andre turned 18 last week but her famous mum was no where in sight as she headed to Ibiza and Dubai to party away instead

Katie Price dropped the bombshell that she was banned from seeing her daughter Princess Andre at her 18th birthday celebration, with the real reason now revealed. The former glamour model, 47, sparked speculation she had snubbed the milestone occasion in favour of travelling abroad.

She was seen living it up on party island Ibiza following her most recent cosmetic work. After treating herself to a Brazilian Bum Lift, she partied away at Wayne Lineker’s Ocean Beach Club, where she was seen hanging out with the host and fellow guest Conor McGregor.

Katie then headed to Dubai, all while Princess’ birthday celebrations were taking place back home. However, she has now claimed the reason she skipped the birthday bash for her eldest daughter was because she was banned from attending.

Princess is embarking on her own glitzy showbiz career and has even landed herself her own ITV show. This series has found itself at the centre of blame, as Katie is said to be banned from appearing in it.

The teenager decided to film her birthday celebration, resulting in Katie not being able to attend, according to reports. “It should be Princess’s time in the limelight but, sadly, Katie just can’t help herself,” a source explained.

“She’s been doing everything she can to keep herself in the papers. Anyone who knows Princess will say she loves her mum but, equally, she is very difficult at times.”

“Nobody around Princess wants that for her, so it was very much for the best that Katie wasn’t at the bash,” they told the Daily Mail. “She was never going to be part of the celebrations, she wasn’t invited.

“Katie was not with Princess on her birthday as she was filming a special episode of her television show, something that her mum is not involved in. Instead, Katie was posting pictures of herself living it up in Dubai.”

Princess’ new show will focus on her life with dad Peter Andre and her step mum Emily as well as brother Junior. It is being made by Peter’s management company, who looked after Katie during her time with the Mysterious Girl hitmaker from 2003 to 2009.

The company, Can Associates, were behind Katie and Pete’s mega money ITV show but the former glamour model has since fallen out with them.

Katie has also shared her own side of the story as she fiercely hit out at her ex Pete on her Katie Price Show podcast. She quipped: “Princess is now officially an adult so mummy and Princess can now go out together. If certain people would let her be seen with me.”

The mum-of-five continued: “Everyone knows she’s doing this documentary – and I’m not in it. Certain people don’t think it’s good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me.”

Her sister Sophie told her: “You aren’t on brand Katie. You are too risky Katie that’s why,” but Katie hit back: “It’s pathetic. I’m her mother.” She added: “It’s so sad. When certain people who used to look after me are now looking after…”

Katie went on to explain the reason for her not attending Princess’ birthday bash as she fumed: “I’m just saying. Princess was like ‘I’m having a party’. And I wasn’t invited because it was for ‘filming.'”

“Oh of course it was!” said Sophie sarcastically, “I wonder what restaurant did that for free.” Katie snapped: “Of course mummy wasn’t invited because it was for filming.”

She went on: “The fact is there’s stuff my daughter is doing and I’m not allowed to be seen at any of it. Certain people who are filming Princess’ documentary used to do my filming. It’s fine, it’s just there’s always conflict of interest. People will cotton on to this. So we do have to do something for Princess’ 18th.”

In a very awkward moment, however, Katie appeared to get Princess’ birthday very wrong. While in Ibiza, she made a huge gaffe by wishing her daughter a happy birthday two days early.

After realising her mistake, the post was quickly deleted and she later shared another snap of Princess and wrote: “2 days until Princess turns 18 can’t believe it xx.”
