Prince Harry ‘resents’ Prince William
Harry and William’s relationship is reportedly very fractured. However, it’s reportedly not because of the Duke of Sussex’s royal exit. Instead, their rift has deepend due to William’s silence, according to a royal expert.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, royal commentator Amanda Matta said: “At this point, Harry’s resentment towards William seems less about the Sussexes’ actual exit in 2020 and more about what came after: the silence, the distance, and the sense that the family iced them out because they dared to speak up.”
“There simply has to be frustration that the family won’t engage in good faith with the points that Harry has raised, even though he’s done so publicly,” she then continued.

Harry and William’s bond
Royal expert Hilary Forwich also told the outlet said that at present, there is no sign of reconciliation between the brothers.
“Their lives and priorities have diverged dramatically since Harry decided to depart from royal duties. Harry is still harboring lingering resentment toward William, as evident in his comments. He has whined about both the estrangement and his sense of being unsupported, particularly regarding issues like security,” she said.
She then went on to say that though Harry has said that he has “forgiven” the royals, his actions and public statements suggest “constant dwelling on past grievances”.
Matta then went on to say that she doesn’t believe Harry regrets leaving life as a working royal. However, she does believe he regrets how “completley that choice cut him off” from King Charles and Prince William.

‘Lingering resentment’ between brothers
Matta’s comments come after a royal insider told US Weekly that there is a “lingering resentment” between Harry and William.
“Harry left a large gap in William’s world, not just personally but practically,” the source said.
“The whole idea was for Harry to work hand-in-hand with William and to divide and conquer during William’s monarchy. So Harry not being there is tough. [William] feels deserted by his brother – not that he would ever say that out loud,” they then continued.
Speaking to the outelt, Matta also weighed in on the brother’s feud, saying: “William and Harry are separated by more than an ocean. There are no plans for a reconciliation. They are two brothers living very separate lives.”

Harry cut out of royal plans
These comments come not long after it was claimed that William won’t feature Harry in any of his royal plans when he is king.
“I don’t think Harry figures in William’s plans at all,” royal expert Jennie Bond told The Mirror recently.
“It is a very sad situation. Harry was his wingman and would have been the brother he could rely on when he takes on the very heavy responsibility of being king,” she then continued.
“Harry would have had an extremely senior role and been the sibling, friend, supporter, and sounding board that the Princess Royal is now to her brother. It is a great loss for William, but one which I think he has now accepted.”
