Loose Women’s Jane Moore lived with the Osbourne family for two weeks while ghostwriting Sharon’s memoir, Unbreakable
Ozzy Osbourne died aged 76 on Tuesday, just weeks after his final farewell concert at Villa Park in Birmingham with the world’s biggest metal stars. In a statement, the Osbourne family, including Ozzy’s wife, Sharon, their daughters Kelly and Aimee, their son Jack and Ozzy’s son, Louis, revealed the frontman died on Tuesday morning.
They said: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.” Ozzy’s former Black Sabbath bandmates have also issued moving statements.

Following his death, his close friends and fans shared sweet anecdotes and unforgettable memories about the time they spent with the Prince of Darkness.
Loose Women’s Jane Moore was among the stars paying tribute to the rocker. The panellist lived with the Osbourne family for two weeks while ghostwriting Sharon’s memoir, Unbreakable, in 2013.
In a new column for The Sun, Jane said she barely got anything done as Ozzy would often join her in the kitchen and reveal all the hilarious stories from his life.

She said the War Pigs singer was ‘naturally funny and kind’, adding that he ‘always asked you questions about yourself’.
Speaking about his love for Sharon, Jane added: “It was well known that they had their spats, but Sharon was his world. He often told me he couldn’t live without her.”
The Changes musician was suffering from Parkinson’s disease in the lead-up to his death. He underwent a strict training programme in order to be able to headline a huge show in Birmingham’s Villa Park called Back To The Beginning on July 5.
Ahead of the huge show, Ozzy’s wife Sharon explained: “Ozzy’s working with his therapist every single day. He’s doing really well, actually. Ozzy’s number one thing in life is his fans, so he’s working hard to be ready for them, to make this show the perfect way to end things.”
Last year, Ozzy wasn’t well enough to perform at Black Sabbath’s Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame induction in the US. While performing at the Back To The Beginning show, Ozzy performed sitting on a black throne as he wasn’t able to stand.
Despite his declining health, the Black Sabbath frontman managed to complete his and Sharon’s move from the US to rural Buckinghamshire, a hope the couple had long harboured. Ozzy and Sharon, who married in 1982, lived in their mansion in the Home County for Ozzy’s last two years, it emerged on Tuesday night.
“Ozzy was always meant to come back to Britain to live in Buckinghamshire, it was where Sharon had spent so long preparing their family home for him,” a friend of the family said last night.
