“IT’S TIME FOR ME TO SAY THIS” – Strictly’s Vito Coppola leaves viewers distracted as Ellie makes heartbreaking admission

BBC viewers issued a similar complaint during Strictly Come Dancing’s spin-off show It Takes Two. During Tuesday’s edition host Janette Manrara welcomed show guests Ellie Goldstein, 23, and her professional dance partner Vito Coppola. Viewers were left taken aback by the Italian-born dancer’s choice of clothing as many took to social media to express their disappointment. Ellie donned a long-sleeved beige top which she accessorised with a gilet. Meanwhile, Vito, 33, opted to wear a vest top which showcased his toned arms paired with light jeans.

It didn’t take long for viewers to note his outfit made them feel cold with some suggesting it should be reserved for the summer months. One X user quizzed: “Why is he wearing a vest? #ItTakesTwo.” Another agreed: “Love Vito but PLEASE stop wearing a vest top on this programme. It looks really tacky and it’s Autumn! #ItTakesTwo.”

“#ItTakesTwo Not sure of Vito’s choice of outfit… A bit too casual. But he is hot! Not sure of Manrara’s denim dress either,” a third noted.

While another remarked: “I’m liking this calmer side to Vito this series #ittakestwo.”

It comes as his celebrity partner Ellie made a heartbreaking admission during It Takes Two.

The model and actress concerned viewers during the first live show after they saw her eyes looking watery post Cha-Cha with dance partner Vito as her fellow contestants comforted her.

But during Saturday’s show Ellie absolutely stunned in a gorgeous blue and white floaty dress performing a waltz to Elton John‘s Wonderful World with the judges awarding the duo with an overall score of 23 out of 40 points.

Speaking about her performance Ellie admitted she felt “emotional” in a heartbreaking admission.

“I had nerves at first,” she explained, “The waltz was a good dance. It was a graceful dance.”

Ellie commented: “During the dance I got emotional. But on the inside not on the outside.”

Vito went on to explain that Ellie had concerns about going down the stairs in the Strictly ballroom on her own without his assistance.

He said: “We want to have a little challenge. Ellie was a little bit afraid of getting down the stairs on her own. That’s why I said, ‘we’re going to set this challenge. You’re going to come down on your own and meet me in the middle of the floor.’ I was so proud.”

The pair shared their excitement for their upcoming performance during Movie Week.
