Formula One legend Lewis Hamilton has dated some of the most famous celebrities in the world

When they recently arrived at the country house hotel Estelle Manor in the Cotswolds, Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian further cemented their status as one of the most famous power couples in the celebrity world.

Kardashian is famous thanks to her TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians and relationship with Kanye West, while Hamilton is one of the most revered motorsport stars in history, having competed at the elite level of Formula One for two decades.

However, for Hamilton, this isn’t his first celebrity relationship, although it is arguably his most high-profile. Here, Mirror Sport takes a deep dive into the Englishman’s dating history.

Nicole Scherzinger

Hamilton began dating Pussycat Dolls singer Scherzinger in 2007, and after an on-off relationship, the pair permanently separated in 2015. They broke up a total of four times, and distance was cited as one of the reasons for their split.

“It’s similar to most sportsmen and women,” said Hamilton in 2019. “It may be slightly different in that we are travelling as much as we are, and you are just away for crazy amounts of time. So that’s probably an additional weight that makes it really, really tough to hold down a good relationship, and if things aren’t quite perfect.”

Shakira

Following her split with Gerard Pique, Shakira was spotted with Hamilton at the Spanish Grand Prix in June 2023. After the race, the pair went for dinner and drinks, and rumours began to swirl that they were an item.

Then, at the British Grand Prix, the couple were spotted on a night out in London, with Shakira leaving at 3.30am. Hamilton apparently stuck around for another three hours. It was later revealed that the pair were just friends.

Rihanna

Eleven years ago, Hamilton and Rihanna were spotted together on several occasions. Despite never being confirmed as an item, they were seen in Barbados and New York, with Hamilton later labelling their relationship as just friendship. “You know, I’ve known Ri for a long time. We’ve been friends for a while. We get to hang out every now and again,” he said.

Rihanna is now in a long-term relationship with rapper ASAP Rocky, and the couple has children together: sons RZA Athelston Mayers and Riot Rose Mayers, and a daughter Rocki Irish Mayers.

Veronica Valle

Hamilton dated Veronica for a brief spell in 2015. She told all about the Formula One star’s sexual desires after their tryst and alleged that he even suggested a threesome with Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

“We ended up going to a party in New York. We go to this club and Karrueche Tran was there,” Veronica told The Sun on Sunday. “She approached me and told me I was pretty. I was upset at the party because Lewis had left me to the side. Somebody later said something about having a threesome with Karrueche. I said, No, I wouldn’t do that.'”

She cited another occasion where a threesome was mentioned: “I was so embarrassed, nothing happened. I think he was just joking about threesomes. As far as I’m aware, he never actually had any.”

Hamilton has also been romantically linked to Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora, former Playboy model Danielle Lloyd, Winnie Harlow, Sophia Richie, and Sofia Vergara.

Hamilton was spotted having lunch in New York with Sofia in early 2025, and an insider claimed that she was interested in continuing their romance. However, they went their separate ways.

Hamilton and Nicki posted pictures of each other on social media in 2018 after going to Dubai together. Hamilton was also seen with Rita on multiple occasions at major celebrity events and leaving her apartment.
