Prince William celebrates his 43rd birthday on June 21, and many royal fans will probably be reminiscing about him as a youngster.
The Prince of Wales is now a father to his three children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven. He’s also a doting husband to his wife Kate, Princess of Wales, 43.

Prince William cuddles puppies in birthday photo
To mark William’s birthday on Saturday, the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram page shared a photo of William cuddling the family’s new puppies.
In May it was reported that their dog Orla welcomed puppies.
Alongside the cute picture, the post read: “Happy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies!”
Fans gushed over the photo as one person said: “Beautiful picture. Happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales.”
Another wrote: “Happy birthday! This is such an adorable photo.”
A third added: “This is the absolute cutest!”
The royal family’s official Instagram page also shared a portrait of William. It showed the Prince of Wales in a blue shirt as he smiled and looked away from the camera.
The post read: “Happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales!”
Royal fans also loved the new photo of the prince, as one person commented: “Happy 43rd Birthday to HRH The Prince of Wales! Your dedication to service and family is truly inspiring. Wishing you a joyful day surrounded by loved ones! ”
Another wrote: “Great photo! Happy birthday to gorgeous Prince William.”

In 1987, William attended Trooping the Colour.
He was seen riding in a carriage with mum Princess Diana and his great-grandmother, The Queen Mother.
The photo shows a curious William, then four, looking behind him in the carriage.
It echoes similar photos of his son Prince Louis at Trooping the Colour, where the young prince is curious at everything around him.

Prince William and Harry were once very close when they were younger. Sadly, their bond has fractured over the years and it’s believed the brothers no longer speak.
