HEARTBREAKING FINAL GOODBYE: JASMINE HARMAN REVEALS DEVASTATING CANCER TRAGEDY!

A Place In The SunĀ favouriteĀ Jasmine HarmanĀ has revealed devastating news, announcing the loss of someone close to her following a long and painful cancer battle — with fans quickly rallying around the presenter in an outpouring of love and support.

The much-loved TV star, 49, shared the emotional update in a moving tribute, writing thatĀ ā€œanother beautiful soul has departed this earth.ā€

Hackney-born Jasmine has been candid in the past about her heartbreak after losing co-hostĀ Jonnie IrwinĀ to cancer in February 2024 — and on Wednesday she once again fought back tears as she shared news of another tragic passing in her life.

Speaking directly to her followers, Jasmine admitted she was feeling reflective as she tried to make sense of the pain.

ā€œI’m feeling very reflective today and very grateful because life throws things at you sometimes,ā€ she said.
ā€œWhat we really should be thinking is how lucky we are to have the problems that we have, because most of them are small problems.ā€

She then revealed the heartbreaking reason behind her post.

ā€œI had some sad news yesterday. A friend of mine’s husband passed away.
He had been battling cancer for a few years — he was a young dad. There aren’t really words to comfort someone in that situation or to say how awful it must be.ā€

The mum-of-two went on to explain how the loss had changed her outlook on life.

ā€œIt really made me put things into perspective. We have to be grateful for every day and every moment.
We have to cherish the time we have with the people we love and do the things that bring us joy.ā€

Her fans were heartbroken for her and quickly flooded her comments with messages of compassion.

One wrote:
ā€œMuch love. Even though it doesn’t feel right, we get these reminders along the way of just how precious life is.ā€

Another added:
ā€œMy thoughts are with you and your friend, Jasmine. Cancer is a scourge that takes too many lives. Live, laugh and love every day as if it’s your last.ā€

Others said her words had deeply moved them, with one writing:
ā€œYou’re so right. Life is hard for me right now, but your message reminded me to stay grateful.ā€

The update also comes after Jasmine previously admitted she still struggles to talk about losing herĀ A Place In The SunĀ co-hostĀ Jonnie Irwin, who passed away aged 50 after being diagnosed with cancer in 2020.

Jasmine and Jonnie were hired together back in 2004 after meeting on a pilot shoot in South Africa, and remained close for two decades on screen.

Speaking to theĀ Mirror, Jasmine said:

ā€œI’m so proud to have been part ofĀ A Place In The SunĀ for 20 years. It has been life-changing in so many ways.
I met my husband on the programme, we have two children now, and I feel lucky to show people that anything is possible.ā€

But she admitted the milestone is bittersweet.

ā€œI still find it very hard even talking about Jonnie. It’s still very raw.ā€
