Cruz Beckham is standing firmly by his mother, Victoria Beckham, amid renewed whispers of family tension – specifically surrounding his older brother, Brooklyn Beckham.

Victoria, 51, recently hosted an exclusive launch event in London for Isabel Rutman’s new jewellery line. Joining her were Cruz, 20, and his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel.

Victoria looked effortlessly chic in a black lace skirt, coordinating top, and a sharp oversized blazer. Jackie, 29, opted for a laid-back double-denim outfit, while Cruz showed off a relaxed style in loose jeans paired with a Dior button-down shirt.

The event – and Cruz’s presence – has drawn fresh attention due to swirling rumours of ongoing strain between the Beckhams and Brooklyn, the eldest son, as well as his wife, Nicola Peltz. While tensions reportedly began during the couple’s wedding preparations, and appeared to settle for a time, signs of distance have re-emerged in recent months.

Brooklyn and Nicola have been consistently absent from several key family gatherings. Notably, they skipped Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show, a major moment in her fashion career.

They were also missing from both David and Victoria’s birthday celebrations. Adding further fuel to the fire, Brooklyn failed to publicly acknowledge his father on Father’s Day and stayed silent when David received his knighthood – two occasions where the rest of the family showed their support.

The situation has only been heightened by cryptic activity online. One notable moment occurred on TikTok, where Cruz fired back at a commenter who seemed to question his career path.

“Are you going to stick with this job or going to become a race car driver next or something?” the user asked.

But Cruz didn’t hold back, responding: “Wrong brother mate,” a pointed jab at Brooklyn’s famously shifting career pursuits, which have ranged from photography to cooking to aspiring to be a footballer.

While family dynamics appear increasingly strained, Brooklyn and Nicola continue to project an image of unity and luxury.

Most recently, Brooklyn marked a milestone in their relationship by sharing a sweet message on Instagram for the anniversary of his proposal.

“It’s been 5 years since I asked this beautiful woman to marry me,” he captioned a photo of Nicola kissing him on the cheek. “Best decision ever x I love you so much.”
