Channel 4 Confirms Fate of Amanda Owen’s ‘Our Farm Next Door’ — Yorkshire Shepherdess Breaks Silence with Emotional Message to Fans!
Channel 4 has officially announced the future of Amanda Owen’s hit renovation series Our Farm Next Door — and fans have plenty to celebrate. The network has confirmed that the show has been commissioned for two more series on More4, following the Yorkshire shepherdess and her family as they continue transforming a centuries-old derelict farmhouse into a stunning modern home.

The upcoming third and fourth series will document Amanda, 50, her now ex-husband Clive, and their nine children tackling the daunting interiors project — from plumbing and water installation to designing every room’s layout. The cameras will also follow the family’s daily farming life in the remote Yorkshire Dales and Amanda’s investigation into the rich history of the property, once home to renowned Swaledale mapmaker Anthony Clarkson.
In an emotional message to fans, Amanda said:
“I am beyond delighted that we have been given the opportunity to showcase this unique and beautiful part of our British countryside. For people to join us on our exciting journey through the restoration of our farm next door — it’s something I’m seriously proud of. We’re so grateful for Channel 4’s support and the utter dedication of the film crew who worked in tough weather, surrounded by the unimaginable chaos of both children and animals.”

Jayne Stanger, commissioning editor at Channel 4, praised the Owen family’s efforts:
“Following the incredible work to renovate Anty John’s has been such a joy, and I’m over the moon we’re continuing this journey with two more series. I can’t wait to see how the amazing transformation unfolds — and, of course, enjoy more of the magnificent Yorkshire scenery.”
James Knight, series producer at Wise Owl Films, added:
“Watching this 11-strong family pull together to bring life to such a wonderful old barn has been incredible. As work begins inside, Amanda will also be delving deeper into Anty John’s fascinating back story. We’re thrilled to capture every moment.”
Amanda’s Outrage Over Vandalism Sparks Fan Support
The renewal announcement follows a wave of support Amanda received after posting an angry video about a shocking act of vandalism in the Yorkshire countryside.
Filming herself at a historic sheep pen on the border between Cumbria and Yorkshire, Amanda revealed that ancient stone flooring — untouched for centuries — had been ripped up and stolen.
“This isn’t the kind of thing I usually post,” she told her 534,000 Instagram followers. “But this has incensed and angered me enormously. These places are invaluable — a part of our history and heritage — still in use today by shepherds and farmers. To desecrate something that has stood the test of time for hundreds of years… it absolutely stinks.”

Pointing at the damage, she continued:
“Somebody came here, probably in the middle of the night, and took the flags out of the floor. This is not just a random spot — this is an ancient place where farmers gather their sheep. It’s our heritage.”
Fans flooded the comments with messages of outrage and sympathy:
“That is just so tragic! No respect for anything anymore. I’m so sorry to see this.”
“People think they’re entitled to take whatever they want. It boils my blood!”
“This is deplorable. It reflects a broader decline in respect for our history and each other.”
Despite the anger over the vandalism, the new series announcement comes as a much-needed ray of positivity for Amanda and her loyal audience. Viewers can expect Our Farm Next Door to return with even more breathtaking views, family teamwork, and remarkable restoration work as the Owens continue turning a crumbling farmhouse into their dream home.
