Nicola Peltz has shared footage from her latest family vacation, which included a clip of her husband Brooklyn Beckham cosying up to this father-in-law Nelson Peltz recently

In-laws Brooklyn Beckham and Nelson Peltz were seen enjoying each other’s company in footage shared this week. Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz has given fans a glimpse into the family’s recent holiday in posts uploaded to on social media.

Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, joined her family on vacation in France earlier this month. The couple, who were spotted in Saint-Tropez, spent time onboard a yacht, where the group are thought to have celebrated the engagement of her brother Will Peltz, 39, and his fiancée Kenya Jones, 32.

Yesterday, Nicola, who has a new film project in the works, shared more footage from the trip on her Instagram Story. A compilation video included clips of the family soaking up the sun and showcased the landscape of the area.

The footage, which was later shared by Brooklyn on his page, also included clips from an event attended by them. Brooklyn was seen alongside his father-in-law Nelson, 83, in some clips from the occasion that were shared by Nicola.

One showed Brooklyn leaning towards Nelson, who had his arm around his son-in-law, whilst holding a bottle of beer, with them appearing to be sat at a table together. Another showed the in-laws embraced in a hug by the table.

Brooklyn has attracted attention over spending time with his in-laws lately. It comes amid speculation about his relationship with his own family, with it suggested that he “doesn’t really feel like he fits into” his own family at the moment.

In recent months, there’s said to have been a rift between Brooklyn and his parents, David Beckham, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51. Earlier this year, it was claimed that there was “distance” between him and his parents.

A source later told the Mirror that he’s also grown “so close” to Nicola’s family. They said: “He just doesn’t feel his family have treated Nicola well and now that he’s grown so close to her family in the States, he doesn’t really feel like he fits into the Beckham family right now.”

Amid rumours of tension between Brooklyn and his parents, it was reported this week that his godfather Sir Elton John, 78, has acted as “peacemaker”. He’s said to have caught up with Brooklyn and Nicola on their holiday to France.

The couple are said to have met the singer and his husband David Furnish, 62, for lunch in Cannes. As reported yesterday, Elton is said to “adore” Brooklyn and have a “laugh” with Nicola, who he believes has a “great” sense of humour.

A source told the Sun: “[Elton’s] utterly neutral in this row.” They went on to tell the outlet: “Elton and David think the situation is terribly sad, and has gently suggested to all involved that life is short – and to patch things up.”

The source said that the group had a “really fun long lunch” though. They told the outlet recently: “Besides a very brief chat on the subject that dare rear its name, they discussed loads of other, much more lighthearted matters.”
