Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz have celebrated a huge milestone in their relationship. The couple who tied the knot in 2022 have seen their marriage go from strength to strength in recent years, with the husband and wife recently purchasing a huge home in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles.

In recent months, their marriage has been plagued by an ongoing feud with his famous relatives, with mum Victoria Beckham and dad David said to be at their wits’ end over the tension. But it seems that the budding chef, 26, and his billionaire heiress wife, 30, are pushing the drama to the back of their minds.

On Monday, the couple celebrated the fifth anniversary of Brooklyn getting down on one knee, and they made sure to mark the occasion with a loved-up snap. Posing in front of a mirror, Brooklyn lovingly planted a kiss on Nicola’s neck while she snapped a selfie of the pair.

Nicola looked super relaxed as she struck a pose, with her dark hair in rollers, while Brooklyn rocked a snapback cap for their picture. Captioning his post, he wrote: “It’s been 5 years since I asked this beautiful woman to marry me xx best decision ever x I love you so much.”

While they had love on their mind, his online followers couldn’t help but comment on the ongoing family feud. One said: “You will regret missing out on such wonderful family moments. Falling in love is wonderful! Remember the start of your journey into life.” A second added: “Not cool how you’re treading your parents and brothers.”

Meanwhile, a third typed: “Whatever happened with you’re mum and dad, please sort this out, yes you are in love, etc, etc, but they ones brought you up into this world, and before it’s too late, just get together and hopefully sort this.” “Just remember you only get one mam & dad,” said another.

But some fans were supportive of Brooklyn’s post, with one writing: “A good man supports and stands beside his wife, always.” “Well done, it is always right to choose love, don’t let anyone get between you two,” said a second. Meanwhile, a third typed: “Literally, it’s no one’s business, but there’s. Let them be. Happy anniversary to the beautiful couple.”

“Team Brooklyn and Nicola, live your life and enjoy it,” gushed another. On Monday, Brooklyn’s younger brother, Cruz, took a swipe at his sibling after being grilled over Brooklyn’s multiple career attempts. One follower asked Cruz: “Are you going to stick with this job or going to become a race car driver next or something?” they asked in the comment section. Cruz was quick to retort with: “Wrong, brother, mate.”

Another person posted: “He has the talent of an average teenage boy that just recently started learning guitar,” to which Cruz said: “It’s easy to comment on TikTok isn’t it, u think I care what you think darling.”

Cruz is known to post cryptic posts on social media. It comes after a source close to the couple told the Mirror that actress Nicola is feeling “attacked” by “false claims” that are being made against her.

Many had hit out, branding Nicola “spoiled” by her parents after Nicola purchased a string of properties, with money gifted to her by her billionaire dad, Nelson and mum, Claudia.

Speaking to the Mirror, a source said: “Nicola doesn’t deny she’s had a fortunate life, and she’s grateful for it. But she’s also been working for over 20 years, and now writes, directs, and produces her own projects. Her parents are proud to support their children, and the idea that this reflects poorly on them simply doesn’t hold up.

“Calling her spoiled is false. For her wedding, she requested donations to support Ukraine instead of gifts, and she runs Yogi’s House, a rescue that saves dogs from euthanasia in shelters. These one-sided and false attacks have gotten out of hand.” It comes as David and Victoria have been accused of apparently not providing financially for Brooklyn.
