Zara McDermott and One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson have only just confirmed their romance after a series of secret dates, yet they appear at odds already. According to a body language expert, one of them may be more into the relationship than the other.

The pair have been enjoying a sunny romantic trip to Los Angeles, with them sharing snaps on their social media from the same locations. Zara, 28, and Louis, 33, spent a night together at a gig as they watched Stereophonics in a packed crowd – while keeping each other off their photos.

Later in the week, Zara finally confirmed her relationship with Louis as she shared a snap of them enjoying breakfast together in Malibu as Louis’ arm featured in a snap in a move that has been branded a ‘soft launch’ of their romance. It came just a month after they were spotted on a date for the first time in Suffolk, keeping a low profile for the short hotel stay.

The romance was fully sealed when Zara and Louis were pictured on another lunch date at Soho Beach House in Malibu. They walked hand in hand as they were full smiles while chatting away to each other.

However, body language expert Judi James has revealed they pair may not be equally as smitten with each other. She claimed Louis appeared to be someone to “fall in love quickly,” while Zara seems “cautious”.

“Louis looks like a guy with little emotional filter when it comes to revealing his romantic feelings for Zara in public,” she said. Louis “epitomises keenness and excitement” and looked filled with pride as he held onto Zara’s hand.

Judi said Louis also has an air of “mild peacocking” with his “slight swagger”. However, his body language contrasted with Zara as Judi James told Daily Mail: “Zara looks more like the cooler, calmer partner here, suggesting she might be the adult in the room or the more cautious one taking longer to commit.

“At one point she stands with her arms folded looking more wary and reluctant in terms of open PDAs here.”

Louis and Zara seem to be making fast progress soon after her major breakup with Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson. They were together for almost five years but she and Sam split up over Christmas.

Just weeks later, rumours emerged that she had moved on with the famous musician. They first opted for a cosy dining experience in the restaurant of The Suffolk – a fancy hotel named after the county, where rooms set you back up to £315 a night.

This month, they have been enjoying time together in Los Angeles. However, they have also made sure to spend some alone time as Louis headed to music festival Coachella without Zara.

He was seen wearing a white tank top and brown shorts while also wearing dark circular sunglasses at the event in the desert. Former Love Island star Zara, however, opted for a shopping trip in Beverly Hills.
