Prince Harry was spotted attending a charity concert to help raise funds for victims of the Los Angeles wildfires – days after the release of wife Meghan Markle’s Netflix series
A beaming Prince Harry has been spotted on a solo outing without Meghan Markle – days after the release of her panned Netflix series.
The Duke of Sussex was seen attending a charity concert in Santa Barbara, close to where he lives in Montecito, to help raise funds for the first responders who tackled the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. The show, called One805 Rock for Responders! Benefit, took place at The Granada Theatre. Before the show, Harry could be seen mingling with guests and posed with first responders who had tamed the blazes, which saw countless people lose their homes across LA and southern California

Earlier this year, while the fires raged, both Harry and Meghan were seen visiting a food distribution centre in Pasadena, where they met victims of the fires as well as volunteers helping out at the hub. However, the visit became shrouded in controversy when actress Justine Bateman slammed the couple for a “repulsive photo op” in a scathing statement on X. She added: “They are “touring the damage”? Are they politicians now? They don’t live here; they are tourists. Disaster Tourists.”
But a source later told Page Six that Harry and Meghan feel the actress’s comments were ‘offensive’ They explained: “It’s offensive to Meghan and Harry that anybody would think this is merely a photo opportunity.” Since then, Harry has met firefighters who tackled the fires, while Meghan has donated to a charity helping young female victims of the fires

Harry’s appearance comes just days after Meghan’s show was released on Netflix, with the prince making a fleeting appearance in the final episode. The lifestyle show, which shows Meghan offer cooking and hosting tips, has been savaged by the critics.
However, it was revealed last week that the show will be returning later this year for a second series. Filming has already begun with Meghan writing on Instagram: “If you’re loving Season 1, just wait until you see the fun we cooked up on Season 2! Thanks for joining the party, and an endless thanks to the amazing team and crew who helped bring it all to life!”
On Saturday, Meghan marked International Women’s Day on Instagram by sharing a photo of Harry cuddling their three-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet.
