Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan ‘exposes’ co-star on air over ‘rude’ habit

On Wednesday’s instalment of Loose Women, the panellists were discussing whether or not it’s bad-mannered to be on the phone while speaking to someone in real life

Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan wasted no time in calling out her co-stars during Wednesday’s instalment of the show.

Anchor Charlene White started the discussion on bad manners, in relation to technology, after food chain Greggs refused service to customers who kept their earphones in while queuing.

As Judi Lov confessed she’s guilty of often being on the phone while being served by someone in a shop, Coleen fumed: “I think it’s rude!”

Although Judi argued that she wouldn’t use the word ‘rude’, Coleen stood firm on the matter.

She added: “It’s bad mannered, it’s rude.”

The studio erupted into applause as Judi joked: “Thank you for coming for me, thank you!”

Despite Coleen laughing at Judi’s reply, the ITV star continued to share her thoughts on the matter as she believed it’s rude to answer a phone call while speaking to someone in real life.

She continued: “It’s like, you’re talking to me – don’t answer the phone?”

However, Brenda Edwards interjected to say it depends on who is calling her.

She added: “If it’s one of my children, I will say, ‘It’s my child do you mind if I answer it?’ If you say yes, you can’t complain.”

Although Coleen called out Brenda as she revealed it’s not always her children who ring her when she’s done it in the past.

She said: “I’ve been out with both of you! Don’t lie, it’s not always your children.”

Imitating a phone call she’s witnessed with one of them, Judi added: “Look, it’s either the children or something that’s got to feed the children so I’ve got to answer that phone.”

Confessing she’ll always prioritise Coleen, it seemed as though the ITV panellist wasn’t looking for that response.

She continued: “It’s not about prioritising, I don’t need to be a priority, it’s about manners.”

Judi hit back: “I’ve got manners! Listen, we’re going to the break soon ok, at least I gave you a warning, that’s manners!”

The studio erupted into laughter as it all seemed to be in good jest with Coleen telling her co-star she ‘loved her’ despite their differing views.
