Loose Women star Charlene White has shared some rare snaps of her two children throughout the year, despite often keeping her family life away from the limelight

Charlene White is widely recognised for her appearances on popular TV shows such as Loose Women and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! However, she is also a devoted mother of two, sharing her life with her partner Andy Woodfield and their two children, seven year old Alfie and five year old Florence.

Although the presenter tends to keep her family life private, she occasionally shares glimpses of her children on Instagram, while keeping their faces hidden from view. This summer, Charlene celebrated Alfie’s seventh birthday by posting a photo of herself holding him as a baby, alongside a more recent picture with an emoji covering his face, reports OK!. To mark the special occasion, she expressed her thoughts on parenthood, stating: “Seven years ago today (after a not particularly enjoyable birth) came the lil’ boy who started my journey of learning how to be a parent.”

She shared a sweet birthday post to her son this summer

“Not sure you ever really completely “nail” parenthood, no matter what the plethora of parenting books/influencers may tell you…. We’re all just trying to do our best to raise happy, healthy, balanced, joyful children who care about the world and others. Anything else is a bonus. And this one gives us bonuses by the bucketload. Happy birthday Alfie! ! “

Alfie, an avid football aficionado often snapped in his favourite kits, cherishes Jude Bellingham and donned the ace’s jersey during the EUROS. His sister Florence remains a bit of a mystery, but the siblings’ bond is evidently tight as mum Charlene shared an airport snap ahead of their July family getaway, faces playfully hidden with emojis as Alfie cosied up to his little sis.

During lockdown, Charlene lifted the lid on the pair’s dynamic as she said: “They love playing together, and Alfie loves being in charge and telling her off. And Florence mostly just kills herself laughing every time he has a tantrum. Amongst all the bad stuff… watching these two getting to know each other has been the good stuff.”

During her time on I’m A Celebrity 2022, Charlene got emotional as she missed her kids while spending time Down Under. After a teary moment, she said in the camp: “I think I was over-emotional, I was missing the kids, it just got released through tears really and I just couldn’t stop crying.”

Anticipating how tough it would be before entering the jungle, she said: “I will definitely get teary. It’s a foregone conclusion. I am going to miss our daily routine with the kids, I am going to miss waking up with them and having quiet time before the school run and that’s what is going to get me tearing up. It will be weird.”
