Good Morning Britain contributor Narinder Kaur has locked horns with Dan Wootton over his scathing review of Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series – With Love, Meghan.
Tempers flared online as Good Morning Britain’s Narinder Kaur clashed with Dan Wootton after he lambasted Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.
Controversial journalist Dan used a segment of his Outspoken podcast to slam the show, stating he “had given up over four hours of my life to watch With Love, Meghan” and went on to deride it as “the worst TV series ever made”.
He also accused Netflix of “producing an atrocity” and pledged to unmask the “tissues of lies” he alleged the Duchess weaves.
Taking his critique to Twitter, he asserted: “Meghan Markle’s shock new lie as we review the WORST TV show in history – Netflix’s With Love, Meghan – so you don’t have to watch it yourself.”

However, Narinder was quick to counter his opinion, writing: “Lies, Dan. I’ve just watched four episodes and without any doubt, Meghan comes across as thoughtful, kind, welcoming, smart, caring and bloody hardworking in that kitchen. She radiates with beauty, and actually – I genuinely didn’t expect to like her this much! She’s a star.”
Dan responded with disbelief, pressing Narinder: “ARE YOU SERIOUS! ? Like actually serious? Give me one example of how she comes across that way… x,” reports the Express.
Narinder stood her ground in the debate, countering: “Yes. Really. In fact, I was going to WhatsApp you and say, ‘Come on Dan, she’s so damn likeable.’ With her friends – she shows sooo much care, she thinks of what THEY like, what their kids would like, she’s so wary of making them feel welcome, she for sure loves cooking and cleaning! No airs and graces. Harry is extremely lucky.”
Meanwhile, Netflix viewers have been voicing their thoughts on the eight-part series that showcases Meghan inviting celebrity pals to her stunning California home. Throughout the show, she dishes out cooking and gardening tips and delves into her past and Royal life with Prince Harry.
Opinions are split, some tagging it “boring” while others call it “soothing” and “feel good”. Fans are chiming in, with one enthused viewer posting: “Okay, I’m not even 30 minutes into episode 1 and I can honestly say #WithLoveMeghan is the best. I needed this show. With all the drama happening here in the US, it’s great to watch a fun, relaxing, peaceful, joyful, informative, great show. Thank you Meghan and Netflix.”
Another chimes in revelling in its “light and warm” vibes, praising Meghan’s “genuine care” for those she hosts.
The Duchess-produced series aims to meld “practical how-tos and candid conversation with friends, new and old”, as described in its press blurb. Initially set for a January release, the show faced delays due to the Los Angeles wildfires.
