Football legend David Beckham took to his Instagram page to share a number of throwback photos as he celebrated his Spice Girl singer wife Victoria’s 51st birthday

David Beckham shared a slew of sweet throwback photos as he paid tribute to his wife, Victoria Beckham, on her 51st birthday. Taking to his Instagram page, the footballer started his tribute with an old picture of them sharing a loving smooch in the swimming pool.
He also shared a snap of the two smiling for the camera as the embraced each other on a yacht at a picturesque location in 1999. The tribute wasn’t complete without a snap of the fashion designer with her four children; Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper Seven. He ended the post with a few snaps of Posh Spice as an adorable child.

“Happy Birthday to the most amazing Wife , Mummy & Best Friend that we could all wish for,” he captioned the post.
“Have the most perfect day because you deserve to and we love you so much,” as he tagged his children. Victoria’s son Cruz rushed to the comment section to wish the star a wonderful day.
Cruz said: “I love you so much mum x from day 1 you have showed us unconditional love and haven’t stopped since.” One fan even pointed out: “Brooklyn, Harper and most of all Cruz looks so much like David and Romeo copy cat his mama.”

He also shared his own throwback post on his Instagram Stories, writing: “Happy Birthday to the most inspirational mum, you have done everything for us.”
Victoria’s Spice Girls pal, Emma Bunton, posted a snap of them at a lavish event, writing: “Sending birthday kisses my gorgeous friend, @victoriabeckham! Have the best day.”
It comes amid reports Victoria could be securing a prestigious type of accolade before her husband gets awarded a knighthood. Despite persistent whispers about David being in line for a knighthood, he has so far been left waiting in the wings, with the honour seemingly out of reach.

Victoria could be zooming ahead, as brand and cultural guru Nick Ede recently suggested her star is not only rising but continuously shining globally and could be set to scoop a damehood.
Speaking to Hello! the expert suggested: “Victoria is in line to become a dame in the not-too-distant future, with her brand becoming synonymous with UK fashion and beauty and her flying the flag like previous fashion dames Vivienne Westwood, Anya Hindmarch and Zandra Rhodes.
“I think she may achieve the highest honour for women before David as she has shown herself to be such an inspiring businesswoman, extremely hard-working and a perfect ambassador for the UK.”
He even predicted that Victoria’s business empire is set to soar past the £100million mark soon – dwarfing the successes of mega-brands helmed by stars like Kylie Jenner and Rihanna.
