Celebrity Big Brother is back on our screens as the housemates exchange pleasantries while getting to know each other – but if the past seasons are anything to go by, we’re on standby for explosive catfights

It’s the reality show that gave us some of the most iconic telly tantrums in history – and Celebrity Big Brother is back with a bang in 2025.

But while the current housemates have been playing nice so far, fans can’t help but reminisce on some of the famous catfights over the years. From full blown feuds to legendary one-liners, these celebs sure know how to bring entertainment.

We take a look back at some of the worst (and the best) Celebrity Big Brother catfights of all time – and pre-warning, we might never get scenes as good as this again.

Gemma Collins vs Tiffany Pollard

When two reality TV legends collide, you can guarantee some level of chaos. In 2016, The Only Way Is Essex’s Gemma Collins and Flavor of Love icon Tiffany Pollard went head-to-head in a now-legendary – and viral – clash.

After days of simmering tension, things soon erupted in a scene continuously doing the rounds on social media. Gemma accused Tiffany of not returning a pair of shoes she borrowed from the reality star in front of their housemates.

Gemma told Tiffany: “Them shoes have to be on someone’s feet who is very beautiful.” She also accused the American TV star of having “big feet” that knocked stones out of the designer kicks – a CBB scandal that was affectionately dubbed Shoe Gate by the British public.

The disagreement sparked a monumental tirade from Tiffany who labelled The GC a “crazy b***h”, saying: “I don’t need s**t from you.”

It was the diva-off to end all diva-offs – and honestly, we’re still quoting it nearly a decade later.

Kim Woodburn vs Nicola McLean

Kim Woodburn’s 2017 stint is etched in the CBB hall of fame – mainly because she fought with pretty much every single housemate.

But her most bitter feud was with glamour model Nicola McLean. The insults flew thick and fast, culminating in Kim branding Nicola an “the mother bunny” and Nicola calling Kim “vile” and “toxic”.

Kim also threw a famous one liner at former footballer Jamie O’Hara, 38, calling him an “adulterer” in reference to his cheating allegations. She shouted: “Go away, you adulterer!

“You’re an adulterer who two-timed your wife and she’s got three kids… You’re talking about decency?”

Producers were forced to step in multiple times, but even then, Kim was having none of it. “I came in here for a rest,” she famously snapped. “Instead I get a bunch of b**chy women.”

Just when we thought Kim couldn’t feud any harder – enter Geordie Shore ‘s Chloe Ferry. Chloe was in the house for mere days before clashing with the How Clean Is Your House star.

After Chloe jumped in the pool and accidentally splashed Kim with water, the TV personality lost it. “You’re a little madam, love!” Kim shouted. “And I won’t stand for it!”

While Kim might have caused chaos with her housemates, the public still thank her for her iconic contribution to British TV.

Megan McKenna vs John Partridge

Before her country music glow-up, Megan McKenna served unfiltered fury in the CBB house – drawing on her iconic Ex On The Beach days.

In 2016, she went head-to-head with EastEnders actor John Partridge in a bedroom row that quickly turned nuclear. Megan accused John of being two-faced and “playing up for the cameras”, while John calmly sipped tea in shock.

At one point, Tiffany Pollard even got involved and launched herself at the reality star.

Screaming, slamming doors, and a lot of “don’t you DARE!” – it was pure CBB gold. It got so heated that producers had to keep Megan in the diary room while she calmed down.

Chloe Khan vs Renee Graziano

American Mob Wives star Renee Graziano met her match in Playboy model Chloe Khan in 2016 – and sparks flew. The pair clashed over Chloe’s flirtations in the house, with Renee accusing her of being inappropriate and Chloe firing back about Renee’s “bad vibes”.

Chloe shocked fellow housemates when she started bouncing up and down on top of the disgraced reality star Stephen Bear, who later went to jail for being a sex offender, while giving him a massage.

“Chloe’s way is a new way of massaging! It’s nice to see Chloe and Bear getting really close,” Renee said. The influencer then accused Renee of calling her a “prostitute” and came to the conclusion that the mob wife was jealous of her.

Chloe said: “She’s old, fat and jealous. Renee’s a f***ing b***h everyone’s scared of her, she’s jealous… She’s just a jealous b***h.”

Stephanie Davis vs the world

If there’s one person who truly brought the chaos, it was Stephanie Davis. The former Hollyoaks actress clashed with almost every housemate during her turbulent stint – especially after falling for Jeremy McConnell despite having a boyfriend on the outside.

Cue endless tears, shouting matches, late-night rants and walk-out threats. Her feud with housemate Danniella Westbrook was so intense that at one point, they refused to speak for days.

Charlotte Crosby vs Saira Khan

Geordie Shore star Charlotte clashed with Loose Women presenter Saira Khan back in 2016 when she slammed her as “uptight, judgemental and boring”.

Charlotte wasn’t a housemate at the time, but her reality pal Marnie Simpson was. She penned: “There’s nothing loose about that loose woman.. She’s uptight and judgemental. Stop trying to delve into people’s souls and have fun!! BORING.”

The rant seemingly came after Saira told Marnie that her wild child “front” is put on to stop people getting to know the “real” her.

Kayleigh Morris vs Sukhvinder Jahveed

Real CBB fans will remember this iconic moment over a hairbrush. In 2017, Sukhvinder took aim at the former Ex On The Beach star after she started brushing her hair in the kitchen.

“You need to get some manners mate,” she snaps as the Welsh beauty walks past her in the kitchen, adding: “I’m eating my food, I do not want you bruising your hair need my food.”

As a shocked Kayleigh hits back, the two get into a back and forth, with Sukhvinder choosing to escalate things. Unimpressed with the way things are going, Kayleigh bites back, telling her housemate: “You need to learn not to be so judgemental towards people!”

Kayleigh was later booted out of the house after producers feared actual violence due to her threatening language.
