Victoria Beckham’s lavish lifestyle would lead many people to believe the pop star can have anything she wants for breakfast. Whilst that may be true, if reports are to be believed, the star proves that simplicity is sometimes the healthiest thing for you.

According to HELLO Magazine, the former Spice Girl and fashion designer has a rather straightforward diet that she rarely deviates from. The 50-year-old is said to enjoy a simple meal every morning if her friend Eva Longoria is to be believed.

The actress and film producer told MailOnline : “[Victoria] is actually easy because we eat the same breakfast. We both love egg whites and avocado. When we’re together… she makes a great egg whites and avocado.”

By removing the rich yellow yolk of the egg, it changes the nutritional value of the supermarket staple quite a bit. It’s the heart of the egg that contains most of the calories as well as all of the fat and cholesterol.

At a glance, stripping the egg of its yolk, which removes almost half of the overall protein content, may seem like a bad idea. But, a Healthline report claims that due to their high protein content, eating egg whites may help you increase your protein intake without significantly affecting your caloric goals.

Pairing her fat-free egg whites with a superfood like avocado will balance out her low-calorie meal to be more nutritionally rounded. BBC Good Health reports that an 80g portion of avocado contains:

152kcal
1.5g protein
15.6g fat
1.5g carbohydrates
3.6g fibre
360mg potassium
2.56mg vitamin E

Avocados have become a huge part of many famous diets. They’re loved by royalty like King Charles and reality stars like Kourtney Kardashian.

The green fruit is fairly packed with nutrients, vitamins and minerals needed for all-round health. It’s high concentration of vitamin E helps maintain healthy skin and eyes as well as gives a boost to the immune system.

Despite seeming like a fairly fatty fruit at first glance, these are known as monounsaturated fats which research suggests helps to protect against heart disease. Another study has found evidence that the fat and fibre content of avocados can help people feel fuller for longer, meaning it’s a great option for those looking to manage or lose weight.
