When looking at ‘nepo babies’ – the term the internet coined for celebs children who have benefitted by their connections in the industry- Brooklyn Peltz Beckham can’t be excluded.

As the son of superstars Victoria and David Beckham, the 25-year-old can’t shake nepotism accusations but that doesn’t seem to bother him.

Posh and Beck’s eldest son has often faced criticism for his ever-changing career ventures, with many saying that he is only afforded the luxury to do this, thanks to his parents.

Now the star is embracing the title. ‘I can’t help how I was born,’ Brooklyn told InTouch magazine.

He added: ‘I couldn’t ask for better parents and I’m just trying to work my ass off and trying to make a name for myself. That’s all I can say, really.’

From football to modelling and photography and now cooking, the London native has tried his hand at an array of career paths over the years.

Speaking about how his parents have supported him, Brooklyn said: ‘[My parents] didn’t care what I did or what I wanted to do. But, they were just like, ‘As long as you’re nice, you’re humble, and you work hard and you put your head down, that’s the most important thing. You can do whatever you want and it’s whatever you choose to do—try and be the best at that’.’

Brooklyn also got candid about critics of his credentials in the food industry, saying he’s well used to the attention by now and instead of being knocked down by criticism, he uses it to forge on and prove people wrong.

He went on to reveal the stellar advice his Spice Girl mum offered him to block out the hate.

‘Until two years ago, I didn’t know what the hell I was doing… my mum’s just like: Prove them wrong. Never respond to that rubbish, just prove them wrong’ Brooklyn said.

His new business venture, Cloud 23, after his father’s Real Madrid jersey, will see the star bring out a hot sauce line.
