The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the West African nation last weekend to promote mental health for soldiers and empower young people.

But royal commentator Ingrid Seward claimed Meghan took the lead during the tour which she described as “Harry’s show”.

She told GB News: “Meghan manages to make everything about her. This was Harry’s show. This was for the Invictus Games. Nigeria is the first African country to join the Invictus Games.

“And it was Harry’s show. And yet, Meghan seems to take over. She has a big fan base there, but I just thought it was a shame. Harry always seems to be slightly pushed into the background unless he’s doing something sporty, like playing basketball or playing polo.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle break silence after Archewell charity ruled ‘delinquent’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have broken their silence after it came to light that their charitable foundation, Archewell, has been named “delinquent”.

But in the couple’s first official statement following their three-day tour of Nigeria, the Sussex’s have failed to mention anything about the scandal, instead divulging more details of their trip.

A note, released on the Sussex’s official website, read: “The Duke and Duchess would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all the event organizers, military officials and the whole Nigerian community for their tremendous hospitality and the first of many memorable trips.”

Prince Harry’s royal rift reaches ‘point of no return’ as reconciliation claims torn apart

Prince Harry’s rift with the Royal Family has reached the “point of no return” after he failed to meet with his father, King Charles, during his recent trip back home, the monarch’s former butler has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex was in the UK last week to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, giving a speech at a special service in St Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday.

But he did not meet with Charles, who attended a Buckingham Palace garden party and held his weekly audience with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on the same day, while he also carried out another engagement in Wiltshire on Thursday.

Now Grant Harrold, who worked for the monarch between 2004-2011, while speaking to Slingo, described the latest move as “odd” and claimed it showed the relationship between father and son is “so badly damaged”.

Meghan Markle’s Nigeria outfits ranked from major peach blunder to £3,184 dress

Meghan Markle’s three-day visit to Nigeria with her husband, Prince Harry, did not disappoint royal fashion fans. She graced the country with sentimental throwbacks, high-end looks, local fashion pieces – as well as the odd fashion blunder.

Nevertheless, the Duchess of Sussex, 42, has established herself as a fashion icon among her fans, by wearing high-end brands such as Carolina Herrera and Johanna Ortiz, alongside championing local talent, such as Oríré for the visit.

However, despite opting for expensive garments, this hasn’t stopped some fashion fans criticising some of Meghan’s looks during her three-day tour.

Meghan Markle’s heartfelt four words to Nigerian audience about Archie and Lilibet

Meghan Markle showed a wave of emotion during the Nigerian tour, and admitted in a candid four words: “I’m missing my babies.” Prince Harry and Meghan had embarked on a three-day visit to the West African Country, without their children.

And the visit coincided with Mother’s Day in America – in which the Duchess would not have been present for in California. Addressing her audience, she said the pair were missing their children.

She told the crowds: “It feels appropriate that although of course we are missing our children, I’m missing my babies, it feels very appropriate to be in the motherland and amongst family.”

Prince William takes ‘thoughtful’ present home to Kate at Adelaide Cottage

Prince William has taken home “thoughtful” gifts for the Princess of Wales and their children following an engagement with Armed Forces personnel.

It comes as William and his father King Charles are said to have “snubbed” Prince Harry by attending a royal engagement together – days after the Duke of Sussex attended the UK without meeting his family.

The Prince of Wales completed his first engagement as colonel-in-chief of the Army Air Corps yesterday, during which he was given presents for his family.

William was given a tartan wrap for Kate, a scarf for himself, and wooden helicopters for children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, reports GB News.

Prince Harry and Meghan’s ‘unofficial royal tour’ shows ‘missed opportunities’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent ‘glitzy’ visit to Nigeria has sparked commentary about what could have been, with a Royal expert pointing out the ‘missed opportunities’ for the couple and the monarchy.

The Sussexes embarked on an unofficial “royal tour” of Africa last week, which was deemed largely a success, despite questions over security, their late arrival and Meghan’s attire.

Harry and Meghan however left a lasting impression during their three-day stay, receiving a warm reception at every turn.

Speaking on Lorraine this Monday, Russell Myers, Royal Editor for the Mirror, reflected on the significance of the trip, suggesting it underscored the potential benefits lost due to Harry and Meghan’s departure from Royal duties.

The surprise royal vying for ‘most popular’ as Princess Kate crowned again

The Princess of Wales was once again crowned the most popular member of the Royal Family, but there was another member of the Firm slowly climbing up the favourability ladder, a new poll has revealed.

Princess Kate continued to be the most admired royal among Britons this month, as 74 percent said they hold a positive view of her, with her husband Prince William coming a close second at 73 percent, according to the latest poll by YouGov.

King Charles came fourth, with a favourability score of 64 percent, surpassed by his older sister, Princess Anne, who snatched a 70 percent.

But it was the tracker’s latest addition that held quite a significance as Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, was included in YouGov’s favourability tracker for the first time.

Piers Morgan slams Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for ‘trash’ move – ‘it stinks’

Piers Morgan has accused Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of acting like an “unofficial renegade royal family”.

The former GMB presenter has slammed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in another rant – claiming their behaviour “stinks”.

Despite Harry receiving a warm welcome in the UK when he visited last week to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, Piers has torn into King Charles’ youngest son.
