King Charles’s ‘deliberate move’ as he’s ‘finally fighting back’ against Harry and Meghan

King Charles timed the latest title announcement deliberately to send a message to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to an expert.

King Charles is “fighting back” against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with his decision to hand a military title to Prince William, as an expert claims the timing of the announcement was “deliberate”.

It was revealed this week that the Prince of Wales would become the new Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps, Harry’s old regiment that he toured Afghanistan with.

This announcement came just hours after Harry’s spokesperson confirmed that he would not be meeting with the King during his trip to the UK as His Majesty was too busy.

Speaking on The Reaction Andrew Pierce said: “First of all Harry did not need to put out a statement saying my father is frankly too busy to see me. That was drawing attention to the problem.

“There is no doubt in my mind, Sarah, the palace issuing that statement one hour later saying William was to become Colonel in Chief of Harry’s old regiment, but then also to announce that are doing a joint engagement on Monday- double bubble.

“The timing was deliberate, and it is the King and William fighting back. They have had enough of him. I think something has broken since he last saw him in February for about half an hour.”

Last time Harry was in the UK he was able to meet up his father, having dashed over last-minute from Los Angeles upon learning that the King had been diagnosed with cancer.

His co-host Sarah Vine agreed: “I think morally The King is doing absolutely the right thing, he is rewarding those who have been loyal and kind to him in his hour of need, ie his son and his wife.

“Camilla has proved herself to be a massive asset to the King.”

She then asked: “Do you think we are seeing some tough love? I think most normal families would think that is really quite weird. I think it means he simply doesn’t trust him.

“I think this is the best he can do. I mean Harry is a very toxic influence in the King’s life. He has cancer and is already getting chemotherapy.”

Although Harry and Charles were just two miles away from each other on Wednesday afternoon, they were not able to meet, in spite of the Prince’s claim he wanted to see more of his family.

Speaking to Good Morning America back in February, Harry said: “I’ve got other trips planned that will take me through the UK, or back to the UK, and so I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”

On Wednesday he was at St Paul’s Cathedral in central London for a service celebrating ten years of the Invictus Games, which was also attended by members of Princess Diana’s family.

Meanwhile the King was at Buckingham Palace for the first garden party of the season, joined by senior royals including the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and Princess Anne.
