Victoria Beckham was quick to react when quizzed on if she’s “excited” to become a grandmother, as her and David Beckham’s eldest son Brooklyn is keen to start a family with wife Nicola Peltz.
Victoria Beckham was taken aback when asked if she’s “excited” to become a grandmother. The former Spice Girl, who is shares sons Brooklyn, 24, Cruz, 18, Romeo, 21, and daughter Harper, 12, with husband David Beckham, responded with surprise during an interview with Vogue.
Her eldest son Brooklyn married billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz in 2022. Despite reported initial disagreements over the wedding dress, Victoria and Nicola have since made peace.
When asked about becoming a grandmother, Victoria exclaimed: “What?! Woo. Hang on! I don’t think it’s happening just yet, unless you guys know something that I don’t. It’s not happening just yet,” she insisted.
Although she’s not ready to be called a grandmother, Victoria did recall a conversation she had with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour on the topic.Victoria Beckham spilled the beans on what she might be called by her future grandkids. She said, “The last time I was with Anna, I was like, ‘Anna, what do your grandchildren call you?’ And she said to me, ‘Anna.’ And I was like, well that is very elegant, so maybe I’ll take that route.

“But it’s not happening just yet. But, you know, hopefully one day if I am blessed, then that would be wonderful. But we’re not there just yet!”
Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz are looking forward to their second wedding anniversary this April.
They both can’t wait to start a family, with Nicola telling Cosmopolitan UK: “I want to have a baby and get right back to work.”
She then added: “We definitely want kids. We need a house first, especially because we have so many puppies. Brooklyn really wants kids now, but I want to do a few more things in my career first.”

Brooklyn is also excited about becoming a dad. He shared with Access Hollywood: “With our conversations she’s like, ‘Oh, I kind of want four or five,’ and then we want to adopt two or three…we want a lot of kids.”
The lovebirds got married in April 2022 at Nicola’s family’s fancy Palm Beach Estate. Big stars like Serena Williams and Eva Longoria came to celebrate with them.
After the lavish multi-million pound celebrations, it was reported that not everything went smoothly. The bride, Nicola, was supposed to wear a dress from Victoria’s own fashion line, but at the last minute, she chose a Valentino gown instead.
However, Victoria and Nicola have since quashed any feud rumours, with the fashion mogul supporting Nicola at the premiere of her new movie, Lola.
