Victoria Beckham slammed by fashion fans for knitwear look with ‘big knickers hanging out’

Fashion mogul Victoria Beckham has been ridiculed after unveiling her latest spring look, with  fans being left baffled by her take on knitwear.

Victoria Beckham has been blasted across the internet after she revealed her new knitwear collection. The 49-year-old fashion designer shared a new spring look, inspired by “British country pursuits”.

Taking to social media, the former Spice Girls singer shared some runway action to her Instagram. Writing to her 32.7 million followers she wrote: “Oversized knitwear nods to British country pursuits, bringing a personal touch to the #VBSS24 wardrobe”.

Before adding that  fans can grab the look now: “Discover new-season knits at VictoriaBeckham.com and at 36 Dover Street”. In addition to the video, she shared a snap of a blonde model posing in the unique ensemble.

She donned a mid-length knitted blue cardigan with a grey bodysuit underneath. However,  fans were quick to spot that the model’s large brown briefs were poking through underneath in the promotional photoshoot.

Victoria added a handbag as an accessory – also from her own brand – which the model carried along the catwalk. Fans jumped to the comments section, with many giving a scathing response.Victoria Beckham blasted over look

One user wrote: “That’s far from the most flattering outfit… Big knickers handing out your knitted cosie.”

A second simply branded the outfit “Horrible”.

“I work in retail if I go in to work with my knickers hanging out my bodysuit I think my boss would flip,” wrote a third.

While a fourth added: “I’ve seen people better dressed to put their wheelie bins out.”

Before another wrote: “Sorry this is dreadful Victoria who signed this off?”.

However, others defended the wife of football legend David Beckham and said: “Love it! that color is British countryside to a tee. I’d wear that with the cutest jeans any day. Love the contrasting colors of the layering knickers too for the runway.”

“Love the colour this is gorgeous”, wrote a second.

A third praised: “So chic, congratulations.. Very beautiful.”

Fiercely defending the mother of four, another  fan penned: “Fashion show pieces are intended to be modified by the purchaser. Not worn as shown on the runway. You can add trousers, your choice of footwear. Maybe you just purchase the bag, to each their own.”

The star, who regularly jets between the United States and  London, was recently spotted at her £12 million Cotswolds mansion with her husband.

She shared a glimpse of a shirtless David, 48 on Friday in a cheeky social media post.

She joked that her grateful  fans “were welcome”, as she documented the ex-footballer stripping off. David was seen doing a spot of impromptu DIY – after they enjoyed a romantic dinner.
