During an appearance on Tuesday’s This Morning, Vanessa Feltz told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that she doesn’t think Prince Harry’s upcoming book will ‘deliver the nastiness’
Vanessa Feltz was quick to defend Prince Harry on Tuesday’s This Morning as she spoke about reports of him rewriting his upcoming ‘bombshell’ book.
The 60-year-old broadcaster joined Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in the ITV studio to discuss the latest headlines, and it wasn’t long before the conversation turned to the royal family.
Holly, 41, began the chat by saying: “According to reports, the King saw flickers of hope in his recent interactions with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
“I mean a lot of people were hoping when you saw the fab four together, maybe this will be the beginning of some sort of friendship, sort of olive branch, reaching out…”

Vanessa then chimed in and said: “Well so did I, I saw flickers of hope, they’re only human! I saw flickers of hope! Look, Harry and Meghan didn’t have to say yes when they were asked to join William and Kate on that walkabout.
“Now we hear rumours from America that Harry is trying to rewrite the book. I knew that would happen, I was sure it would happen.

“I was sure he couldn’t follow his grandma’s coffin in the same way that he followed his mother’s, shoulder-to-shoulder with the only brother in the world who understands what the two of them were going through and go home completely unchanged by that, how could anyone? He’s only human,” Vanessa continued.
“And I just thought he’d go back and he’d try and rewrite and we hear that he is and I hope it’s true, and King Charles would see the flickers and embers of love that are actually there.”

She went on: “I think the book might be very very honest about Harry’s own personal feelings about when he lost his mother and his personal feelings about being in the army, and he just won’t say the horrible things that everyone hopes he will – I don’t – I hope he won’t.
“And I just think you know that’s a book by him, it will deliver, but it won’t deliver the nastiness. And I think if there was any in it, he’ll take it out now,” Vanessa added.
