I’m A Celebrity 2024 axed its third celebrity on Monday night, as hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly announced the result of the public vote on the ITV series
There was another departure on I’m A Celebrity 2024 on Monday night, as Tulisa Contostavlos left the jungle.
They were announced by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly as the third campmate to be leaving the show this series, as eliminations began last week. Following Dean McCullough’s elimination on Sunday night, days on from Loose Women’s Jane Moore being voted out, another exit aired in the latest episode.
On her way out she told Ant and Dec it was “hard in there” as she found jungle life tough. She said it was a “whirlwind” and she couldn’t believe what she’d achieved.
“You’re just going to be more grateful for everything. The food you eat, the people that you love… you don’t realise how good you’ve got it,” she said. She also said it was “testing” in there, but she stayed true to herself.
She also found the trials, especially the eating challenge, harder than she expected. As for her screams over the critters in camp, she’d hoped to keep her fears under wraps.
Viewers had moments earlier confessed they wanted no one to leave, with one posting: “Don’t want anyone to go. This is a tough year, anyone that goes will be sad to see,” as another said: “I don’t want anyone to leave.” All Tulisa wanted to know though was whether Melvin Odoom had a chance with Carol Vorderman.
A third added: “I love that we all collectively agree, that we all do not want ANYONE to leave now… can’t they all stay, this is the best camp.” A fourth said: “Does someone leave tonight?! I can’t imagine anyone leaving I love them all.”

On hearing Tulisa was out, fans admitted they weren’t expecting it. One fan said: “So surprised that Tulisa is the one gone.” Another commented: “Tulisa should’ve been a finalist,” as a third added: “WHO THE ACTUAL F**K VOTED FOR TULISA.”
It comes as hosts Ant and Declan announced that Dean was the second person to leave the Australian jungle on Sunday night. The vote was between him and Irish boxer Barry McGuigan.
Immediately after being voted out, Dean said: “I’m going home, I’m going home, I need my underwear, I’ll see you later! I’m going home!” Speaking to Ant and Dec in the studio following the eviction, he said: “Boys, it’s absolutely nuts. I still can’t believe I’m here.” When Ant and Dec pointed out he didn’t look disappointed to be voted out, he said: “Not at all, I have really soaked up this whole experience. All the trials.”
The hosts then brought up the fact Dean yelled out ‘ I’m A Celebrity, get me out of here!’ twice to get out of trials. Ant admitted he was harsh with the radio star, with Dean yelling out: “You were so harsh!” However, the hosts claimed it was simply ‘tough love’ to get Dean to finish the tasks as they thought they were “do-able”.

Just days earlier, Loose Women’s Jane was sent packing as the first evictee. Earlier this week, Jane was chosen as the first person to leave the Australian jungle after taking part in gruelling trials and eating measly meals of beans and rice.
Jane spoke to Ant and Dec following her departure, describing her stint in the jungle as “such a weird and magical experience”. When asked if she was disappointed to be first out, she responded: “No more washing up – yes!” She also stated that: “Hard work doesn’t get rewarded.”
Reflecting, she said: “I collected the logs, I built the fire, I emptied the dunny, because my partner was Dean, who was on trials all the time. So I did it all on my own, put out the rubbish. I had three jobs. I worked like a dog, and then they gave me the washing up, which is a really tough job to go three times a day all the way to the bottom of the creek, lugging everything. I wasn’t pleased about that, to be honest. I said to Danny when he walked out: ‘don’t give me cleaning’.”
She added that she “can’t wait to get rid of the washing up,” adding: “I’m never washing up again, ever. Yeah, it’s been hard work down there this year.” She also shared her thoughts on who should win the show. Picking Melvin Odoom and Coleen Rooney, she said: “I think Melvin is an absolute slogger. He’s very quiet. He doesn’t push himself forward. Colleen is another one. So they keep everything going. They’re not flamboyant but they’re solid.”
