Stacey Solomon’s return to ITV Loose Women confirmed after exit fears – and it’s soon

Loose Women have confirmed when Stacey Solomon will make a huge return to the ITV lunchtime show amid fears she was no longer a pannellist

Stacey Solomon’s return to Loose Women has been confirmed – and it’s just days away.

There had been fears Stacey had quit the ITV lunchtime show after taking some time off for maternity leave, and it’s now been confirmed when she’ll be back with the panel for the hit programme. Stacey joined Loose Women back in 2016 and has been on-off since, appearing more regularly at the start before only making occasional appearances in the past year or so.

A source said recently that Stacey had “outgrown” the show and would not be returning. “The panellists know Stacey is popular and good for the programme, so they would be gutted to see her go,” they said, ” She’s outgrown the show. It’s no longer right for Stacey. Loose Women takes up a lot of her time. If she were to leave, it would free her time up a little, especially if she has to be away for longer periods of time with her own shows.” However, sources confirmed to The Miror that wasn’t the case.

An insider close to Stacey exclusively told The Mirror that claims she had parted ways with ITV were “categorically untrue”. A spokesperson for the show added: “These claims are not true. We are looking forward to welcoming Stacey back onto the show soon.”

Now, it’s been confirmed that Stacey will be back on the panel tomorrow to fill the other Loose Women in on what life has been like since she went on maternity leave, following the arrival of her latest child, daughter Belle.

Speaking about her time on Loose Women so far, Stacey revealed previously: “Again, I’m just grateful to be on there. When I was on X Factor 14 years ago… I never even thought I’d be on a show like this never mind have opportunities like Sort Your Life Out and Loose Women. So every time I get to do something like that I’m genuinely like ‘thank goodness, this is amazing!’. You’ve just got to keep enjoying it because you never know when it’ll be gone and when those things aren’t going to be there.”

Stacey will be back on Loose Women tomorrow with her fellow panellists, where she’s likely to discuss family life, her home Pickle Cottage and of course, her relationship with I’m A Celebrity star Joe Swash.
