Stacey Solomon has shared a sweet tribute to her second-born Leighton on his 12th birthday as she posted an emotional tribute to the son she shares with ex Aaron Barham

Stacey Solomon ‘is so emotional’ as she shares a rare family update with a rare snap.The doting mum, 34, wanted to mark Leighton’s 12th birthday with an honouree post. The TV star shared two black and white photos to mark the occasion. Stacey shared with fans that it was “rare” for her to share photos of her own son on social media these days, but was delighted that her emotional birthday tribute made the cut.

In the adorable photos, the mum-and-son duo were all smiles, hugging and beaming from ear to ear for the camera. The Loose Women favourite went on to gush praise, she penned: “Happy Birthday Leighton. The funniest, craziest, wild, clever, most unafraid human.The ‘Tap To Tidy’ founder added: “I’m so proud of the person you are growing up to be Leight.

“And I’m very excited to have a rare picture of you and me that you actually like.” She signed off with: “To the moon and back Leighton! Happy 12! Over on her story the TV personality also shared a glimpse of the birthday festivities which included a delicious Ferrero Rocher cake. Time for the best part of birthdays. Me and Leighton have the same taste in cakes and I’m so happy about it,” Stacey penned.

The mum-of-five’s touching post comes after she humorously claimed she’d been “taken hostage” by her husband Joe Swash. The beloved celebrity couple gave their three little ones, Rex, aged four, Rose, two, and one year old Belle, a treat with a weekend getaway to a caravan park.

The kids were having such a blast that they were gutted when it was time to pack up .Stacey and Joe, caught up in the fun, decided on the spur of the moment to extend their stay by another day. Stacey shared with her followers: “We’re still in this caravan,” as Joe added: “The kids won’t let us go home. “Joe, the ex-Eastenders actor, joked to his audience: “I’m keeping her hostage.

“But Stacey stood firm on leaving because she was scheduled to be on This Morning the following day.In a playful banter, Joe teased: “I reckon, there’s about a 75% chance that we’re not going to let her go on This Morning. ” Stacey, however, was adamant, replying: “I’m going, I’ve got to go, I can’t just not turn up.”
