Prince Harry warned key thing he loves about Meghan Markle ‘for now’ may not stand test of time

Megjson Markle has been described as ‘dominant’ in her marriage to Prince Harry, who has been branded a ‘lost little boy’ alongside his wife, according to a Royal commentator

Prince Harry has been warned one of the key things about Meghan Markle that made him fall in love with his wife may not stand the test of time.

That’s according to a royal expert, who portrayed the Duke of Sussex as “a lost little boy” with Meghan who “compensates for his own weakness”. The expert has analysed their relationship dynamic, cautioning that Meghan’s ‘dominant’ personality may not always be beneficial to their marriage. The pair, married since 2018, stepped back from their Royal duties in 2020 and recently marked their sixth wedding anniversary. They currently reside in Montecito, California, and are parents to two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Tom Quinn, a Royal author and expert, told The Mirror : “No one has ever doubted that Harry and Meghan do not have an equal partnership when Harry famously said, ‘what Meghan wants Meghan gets,’ he neatly summed up the situation. Harry has always come across as a lost little boy, overprotected by the Royal family as a child and then suffering the death of his mother he has always seemed unsure and indecisive, always searching for a strong partner who makes up for his own weakness.

“Meghan is very much that partner. She is ambitious, determined and a real fighter – Harry always tries to fight alongside her, but the battling, complaining Harry we see now did not exist before Meghan’s arrival on the scene.

“For now, Harry loves the fact that Meghan gives him some of the backbone he always lacked, but her dominance in the relationship may not always be welcome – what charms us and delights us early on in a relationship doesn’t always stand the test of time.”

This view arrives following the notable nonattendance of the pair at the nuptials of Harry’s close friend, Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster, in Chester this week. With Prince William playing a significant role as usher, it is suspected that his brother’s involvement may have contributed to Harry’s decision to bypass the occasion.

As reported by The Times, Harry was indeed on the guest list for Hugh’s union, but after a phone conversation with the groom, decided to maintain distance in what has been termed a “civilised understanding”. This action paved the way for William to fulfil his duties unimpeded at the ceremony where he was spotted entering Chester cathedral via a side entrance on Friday.

Adding further fuel to the speculation, an anonymous source communicated to the New York Post that “Harry actually got a ‘save the date’ card a few months ago but called Hugh and said it would be too awkward if he and Meghan Markle attended, so he made his apologies and Hugh understood.”
