Prince Harry is reportedly fearing his “new happiness” with Meghan Markle might be jeopardised as they brace for what could be another challenging revelation.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have frequently made headlines since their Royal departure, are said to be apprehensive about “explosive” details of their private lives.

The film in question is being put together by Royal journalist and German TV producer Ulrike Grunewald, who has taken her crew to California to delve into the Montecito lives of Harry and Meghan.

Contributing to the documentary is Richard Mineards, a British Royal correspondent turned local in the Sussexes’ Californian community, reports the Mirror.

In a recent article, Mineards disclosed, “Los Angeles-based producer Melanie Hillmann grilled me for two hours on my Riven Rock neighbours, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, under director Ulrike Grunewald.”

Despite their public desire for privacy, the Sussexes may be experiencing trepidation over what the forthcoming documentary might disclose.

Insiders hint at a possible atmosphere of “worry” or even “panic” within the Sussex household, a typical sentiment when facing the prospect of a new documentary.

An insider said: “There are many things that both of them, especially Meghan, don’t necessarily want in the public domain.

“It’s no secret that they both led colourful lives before they met each other, and while Harry has spoken about a lot of mistakes in his book, there are still things about Meghan we don’t know.”

Meghan, prior to becoming the Duchess of Sussex and marrying Harry, was no stranger to the glitzy Hollywood scene.

The source suggests that Meghan has “brushed over” certain elements of her past, but warns that there are those “willing to speak out”.

Speaking to Ok!, the source hinted at potential revelations about Meghan’s past conflicts, including her alleged rift with Kate Middleton, saying: “It could also delve deeper into her fall-out with Kate and challenge the Sussex camp narrative that it was all Kate’s fault.

“But Harry and Meghan are now desperate to leave everything in the past as they want to start afresh and I think Harry will fear that their new happiness could be ruined if Meghan’s past is investigated.”

Amidst these revelations, Harry might be feeling “humiliated” after his father, King Charles, reportedly did not meet with him during his recent UK visit for the Invictus Games. Meghan stayed behind in the US, citing “security concerns”.

Shortly after, the couple made headlines with their three-day trip to Nigeria to promote the Invictus Games.

A source has suggested that Meghan’s first marriage, which ended in divorce, could be a potential “explosive” point of interest.

Meghan was previously married to film producer Trevor Engelson in 2011, seven years before her Royal wedding with Harry at Windsor Castle.

The couple separated two years later and finalised their divorce in 2014, citing “irreconcilable differences”. Meghan then met Harry in 2016.

“Her first marriage didn’t end well and her ex-husband is yet to speak out but who knows, for the right amount of money, he may have his say,” the insider speculated.

The couple, both known for their humanitarian work, had a packed itinerary planned, starting with a tour of the Lightway Academy, a primary and secondary school in Abuja.

Their schedule also included visits to military rehabilitation centres, sports facilities and meetings with local organisations supporting veterans’ welfare.

The trip was particularly significant for Harry as it highlighted his commitment to the Invictus Games, an event he founded for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women.
