Pregnant The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton fumes at Conor Maynard as she prepares to give birth

The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton has claimed that pop star Conor Maynard has failed to respond to her messages as she prepares to welcome their child after a one-night stand

The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton has hit out at singer Conor Maynard as she prepares to welcome his baby.

Pop star Conor and reality star Charlotte met at a boozy night out and were introduced by the show’s winner, Harry Clarke, the boyfriend of Conor’s younger sister. Appearing on Tuesday’s Loose Women, Charlotte, 32, opened up about her pregnancy as she revealed that she is doing it completely alone after Conor reportedly made it clear that he did not want to be apart of their baby’s life.

Speaking to the Loose Women panel, mum-to-be Charlotte revealed her unborn baby’s name as Penelope as she detailed the advances she has made to Conor, which have reportedly been ignored by the singer. Charlotte revealed that she has been in touch with Conor, but he has failed to respond, which has left Charlotte in a dark place mentally.

“I’m always torn with what’s best for the baby. For me and my mental health, and the damage that Conor has done to me, I absolutely wouldn’t want him in my life. But, I’m an adult and I understand what I’ve entered into here and if that’s how it has to be then I have to suck it up and put her first,” Charlotte told the Loose Women panel.

She continued: “I would like it for her at some point in her life, but I don’t think there’s really much point at this stage, but in the future maybe – that might be nice for her. But it’s got to be all Penelope’s decision.”

It comes after Charlotte recently posted a message on Instagram in which she made claims about Conor. She wrote: “I just wanted to thank all the kind wishes… it has been hard speaking again because last time I thought I was alone but to find out he has more hidden children out there that he has done this to other women made me think I will speak, for the scared women…”

The Traitors star continued: “For some, I may be irritating but I think unless you have been in these shoes like me and these others it’s hard to understand. Anyway thank you for my loyal followers and for the women who have been courageous enough to speak to me.”

The reality star said that she feared she would miscarry her miracle baby and had been placed on bed rest by her doctors. “It was so stressful that doctors twice put me on bed rest. I thought I was going to miscarry,” she said. Charlotte went on to claim that since falling pregnant she had felt “abandoned and alone”.

The relationship between Charlotte and Conor has deteriorated since she fell pregnant and speaking to The Sun, she said: “He told me, ‘I’m not ready to be a dad. It’s nothing against you, Charlotte, but even if we’d been together three years, I would be the exact same. I do not want to have a child. That’s why I haven’t got a dog’.”

Charlotte has claimed that he only wanted her to reach out to him if his paternity was going to be revealed in public. The Traitors star shared: “He told me, ‘This is your miracle baby. It is not mine’. He ended the text, ‘Hope you’re all good, Charlotte x’.”

Charlotte went on to speak about her previous miscarriages and her thoughts on her pregnancy: “After seven miscarriages over my 20s, failed Insemination, failed IVF I was told It probably won’t happen for you. These words for a lot of women, are the words you never want to hear! Yet someone decided I deserved a wish answering and I am now going to have my own little miracle. It was a rough start (never knew sickness could be so bad) but I’m starting to feel normal again!! I wanted to share this with all my family, friends and #thetraitors fan base!! It’s been a shock, to say the least but the most welcomed surprise ever!!”

The Mirror has reached out to Conor Maynard’s spokesperson for comment on this story.
