Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in front of millions during a ceremony in 2018.
When Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle at a storybook royal ceremony at Windsor, the Duchess offered her husband-to-be a calming presence, according to an expert.
As they mark their sixth anniversary, reflections on their 2018 nuptials reveal contrasting demeanours: Harry, initially tense, and Meghan exuding confidence from the start.
Body language expert Darren Stanton, speaking on behalf of Betfair Live Casino, observed that while Harry displayed “nervous” anticipation beside his brother Prince William at the altar, it was Meghan’s “calm and confident” presence that brought him comfort.
“Harry was feeling nervous on his wedding day. He displayed a few nervous smiles, but they were portraying genuine emotion. He tried to convey confidence, but his nerves took control. When he was waiting at the altar with William, you could see his face flushing, as his cheeks went red. But when Meghan arrived, he was more relaxed and could be more at ease with himself,” Stanton revealed.
The body language expert, formerly of Derbyshire police, observed that Meghan Markle exuded confidence on her wedding day without any visible anxiety.
Meghan Markle offered her husband-to-be Prince Harry a calming presence, according to an expert.
“Meghan was calm and confident on her wedding day with no nervousness. She was very collected and everything seemed to fall into place as she arrived. She took the lead and had a lot of control. Her posture was aligned, she held her head high and her smiles were fully engaged. These are all signs of feeling at peace and confident about themselves. Meghan puts Harry at his ease.” the expert added.
He noted the couple’s body language signalled a bright future, claiming: “When Harry first saw Meghan on their wedding day, Harry was blown away.
“He couldn’t stop smiling and couldn’t stop looking her in the eyes. This shows how real their connection is. As soon as they locked eyes with each other, Harry’s body language relaxed.
“It shows how connected they are as a couple. It means that when they are together and can be themselves, but also feel comfortable when they have each other by their side.”
