Meghan Markle has a new ring on her finger!

On July 11, at the 2024 ESPY Awards, the Duchess of Sussex, 42, debuted a striking new statement ring. Accompanying Prince Harry, Meghan showcased the Large Cassandra Ring in 18K three gold with diamond loop from Rodi, which retails for $3,400.

At the ESPY Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, where Prince Harry accepted the Pat Tillman Award for Service, Meghan wore the dazzling new piece on her right index finger. She paired it with her traditional stack of meaningful rings on her other hand: her tristone diamond engagement ring featuring gems from Princess Diana’s personal collection, her Welsh gold wedding ring and an eternity band gifted by Harry for their anniversary in 2019.

She complemented her look with diamond earrings and her signature gold Cartier Love bracelet.

Meghan’s Rodi band isn’t the only statement ring in her collection. The Duchess of Sussex famously gave a wave in Princess Diana’s aquamarine cocktail ring en route to her evening wedding reception when she married Harry in May 2018.

Eva Hartling, the vice president of Canadian jeweler Maison Birks told PEOPLE at the time that she expected the bride to wear something blue during her wedding ceremony, but thought the accessory was flawless.

“I thought she could have gone with something blue with a piece of jewelry for example in her first look, but we saw it in her second look with her ring belonging to Diana,” Hartling said. “I think that was symbolic.”

Meghan’s bespoke white halter gown by Oscar de la Renta at the ESPYs echoed the style of her second dress from her royal wedding day. The color, neckline and open back were reminiscent of the high-necked halter gown by Stella McCartney that she wore to the evening reception at Frogmore House in 2018. This followed the wedding ceremony at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, where she wore a white silk gown with a bateau neckline and three-quarter length sleeves by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy.

Meghan’s makeup for both the 2024 ESPY Awards and her 2018 wedding day was done by her longtime friend, makeup artist Daniel Martin.
